Wonderful. Thank very much. They are intelligent investors and they are here to carry our money away and further impoverish Africa. A bundle of intellectual/economic imperialism! !

I'm aware of the news, infact that's why their name was changed from Mobil to 11 PLC. Nipco is not a regulating body, rather it's another "oil company" and their has never being a time that Nipco bought a company and filed delisting notice to NSE. So why do you think and talk like this, it is only your dangflour that has good future? why haven't they done so since, what are they waiting for? One thing I know is that this information is the cause of Mobil price depreciation, but if peradventure they pay dividend this year ... Their price will go crazy.
Don't be too emotional/sentimental on a particular stock just because you are holding such stock. Rather, digest the information you get in order to make an investment decision. Investors have been a little bit cautious of Mobil simply because of its acquisition by NIPCO. Yes, Mobil is a good buy at current price, but you need to consider other factor. I bought Mobil a month ago @ N160 and sold early last week @ N159, because the stock has remained stagnant even in the bull session. I can tell you that the stock I used Mobil money to buy (Access) has already gave me 10%.

not emotional dear, but i don't like it when someone speaks arrogantly of what he's not sure of, how did Cadillac come to what he just said? Of course investors are cautious of Mobil due to their latest transaction with Nipco. But the worse thing that should have hhappen, has happened already. And that is changing the name of the company, which has being effected. So how on earth should Cadillac arrogantly say what he said without any evidence Besides check the price this morning, I bought 154 and its 167+, now. That's stock trading for you

You asked for opinion...NOBODY IS UNDER ANY OBLIGATION TO PROVE ANYTHING AS THEY DIDNT FORCE ANYONE INITIALLY.

You might ask for further explanation in a more appealing way.

Wit the way ur respond to people. THEY MIGHT BE FORCE TO HOLD THERE ADVICE.

this is what ur doing.

Ask for an advice..

dey give u...then u come back to blast the person because he didnt add prove to his advice.

making d person feel bad..but u forgot nobody forced u initially into any stock?

No one has proof. However when a majority shareholder seeks to buy out minority shareholders, it simply means he is not interested in sharing ownership of the company with you and probably also doesn't want public scrutiny. The only way to achieve that is to push you out and then delist. Increasing stake is different from buying-out.

Precedents: NBC, 7up etc

http://punchng.com/7-up-majority-shareholder-to-buy-out-others-for-n19-33bn/

"Sawhney, who joined the company in a management change this year, said delisting Seven-Up from the stock exchange after the takeover would be “logical” . The takeover is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals."

NB: Not a recommendation to BUY, HOLD or SELL.

Well I don't like to offend others, so anyone i offend should pls forgive. My annoyance is that Cadillac didn't respond when I was asking for a word before placing my bid, only to just drop a word when I've done the purchase. Without analyzing his opinion very well.
