When I went to Shop rite( Palms ) mhen, the begging there ehn, I fear make dem no pickpocket me....

Please the governor should do something, and why is there no overhead bridge in Ibadan?? I have been crossing and crossing, na wa o...

Lastly no good food, are there no calabar or igbo food sellers in challenge ni... every where agege bread... except one iya dunni, and not every time someone will go for oven food at tantalizer....

If Ibadan is like this, only God knows how other parts of Oyo will be.... take a cue from Lagos state, and drive investors to this beautiful state...

And Agodi park in Mokola hill should be properly advertised.....

Pls governor do something about the begging..... especially these little kids.....

Op, believe me, you made one great mistake, you should have asked those beggars about their names. Most of them are from South East. They are in Ibadan for business. Some of them rent wheel barrow and someone who will transport them around for arm giving like what they do in Lagos, Ogbete Market in Enugu, Obollo Affor and other major areas in the east. Some of them go in two or three with tamboreen singing and clapping. Some of them ran to Ibadan from Lagos because of disturbance and uneasy business environment in Lagos. If Oyo state governor should send them back home through 'The Young Shall Grow or Ekene Dilli Chukwu' like Fasola did, you will still begin to shout Foul! One Nigeria! Biafra! Marginalization! etc. Ibadan is very big and the people are very accommodative, otherwise, the beggars would have been sent packing to biafra land and others to their respective zones.

Who is is telling you this is for tribalism? You must be kidding! It is a fact you forgot to mention. I just reminded you in case you forgot. Welcome to Ibadan, enjoy your stay, but hope you will not begin to count those business beggars as major contributor of Oyo state IGR? Please, remember to pay transport fare for some when you are going back to Ibobs' zones.

And instead of you to face the generational begging which is the only hope of most yoruba people to survive generational poverty, you start abusing those who did not call your names. If we start now your people will start crying everywhere.

Thanks to WAEC, who allowed you to select up to eight subjects. It seems 'Yoruba Language' is one of the subjects you selected. I can now see the way you are showing me you get next grade to 'F' in Yoruba. Kudos! Or did you learn those words from 'bus conductors' since you must have boarded different vehicles before you got to your babe in Ibadan. Well, is possible also you learnt that from your babe. Anyway, enjoy your days in Ibadan, it is the home of hospitality!

only in yoruba land you see deaf and dumb begging wearing tags on their necks saying I AM DEAF AND DUMB HELP ME.

meanwhile you'll never see that elsewhere, there's a deaf and dumb guy I know of, the guy is a confirm hustler, he does not beg, he just opened a boutique for his girlfriend(as in correct chick)

ibadan is a wasteland.

Do you see why we call this people pathetic? They just drag Igbos into matter that doesn't concern them. If we descend on them, they will start crying foul.

I laughed in 4g! !! !!! Does that look like an 'abuse' to you? Sorry, try to use two connecting wires to reset/reboot your brain or just reformat it completely before you read again and again so you can understand better. This is the second thread you guys opened on 'Ibadan Beggar' within a week. I am only enlighten the 'OP' on his thread titled:'Beggars in Ibadan'. It is just a contribution on what he forgot to add, just to broaden his thread since he is learning how to write essay on ' 'Beggars in Ibadan'; there is a need to give him more point based on facts on ground. So, you are here talking about 'abuse, generational begging'. Did you even understand the trash you typed in the first place? Well, I am too busy to replying you word for word. But note that it is generational that a particular 'set of people', must leave their 'landlock' areas in search for better life in SW including Ibadan. It is in their genes! So, if everybody leaves, who will remain in that forsaken areas to give the beggars money? So, beggars from 'that zones' have to run to better places where they can survive like Ibadan, Lagos and other part of SW. So, what is more 'generational begging' than that in this 21st century? Some are even leaving hawking ' fan yogo' and 'gala' business to their lucrative ' generational begging' businesses, so that is why they are so many in Ibadan in case you don't know.

Of course we will descend on them and remind them that those beggars are ewedurudeens with names like Abudu, Simbiatu, Moshood, Agbabiaka and rokiatu. Many of them live under brown roofs in ibadam and are born experts at shitting inside nylon bags and flinging same ontop of their neighbours perforated brown roofs. grin

Only the body odour and mouth odour of a yoruba begger will force you to surrender your money. Dem be like 'arrrrhh oju oni ti yin o, e dakun, e ro mi lowo. cheesy cheesy

as for the begging you are complaining about there are beggars all around Lagos too.
you've obviously not seen 1/6 of Ibadan. you are complaining there is no good food because your girl doesn't have taste. you should visit Skye bank at bodija if you are ready to eat good food. this should also help
