This is the end result of men who practise POLYGAMY Property ownership issue is often a common problem in polygamous home and men who practise it leave a TIME BOMB upon their demise from mother earth. We notice this in the Ojukwu family and now the abiola family. The Edewor family in Delta state also faced this kind of problem. This does not mean that monogamy is free of property ownship crisis following the death of the originator. Monogamous home also have their own share. But polygamy is the worst. In Delta state, polygamy is commonly practised by Urhobo men. They marry men wives and born children here and there. At their death a lot of property ownership crisis comes out. In the case of Chief M K O Abiola, he never envisage that this kind of problem will come after his death. But here we are. Some of his properous asset are now dead talking about business like CONCORD NEWSPAPER ETC Because he left his asset to children that are less interested in his business acumen. |
