Honda Babyboy: Simplicity In Perfection by MrBigiman: 11:41pm On Jan 26, 2018
It was the year 1998, and it was going to be the best year ever for the auto industry, as the year was going to herald about the most reliable vehicle crafted by man. This phenomenon was mean't to hold sway for only half a decade, but little was it known that it was the creation of the indestructible. Honda was going to produce their best car yet before the turn of the millennium, and decades later would struggle to relive the same feat.

I got my Honda Baby Boy 2001model in 2010, and almost 8 years later, she runs gallantly. Not a single Engine fix, transmission change or AC repair. Unlike the constant ugly remarks of the Honda foot, this has stayed unshaken for almost 2 decades. If theres any ride which passes the reliability test 100% this would be it. Today I use 2 vehicles each made 1998 and 2001 respectively. While my favourite of all time would be the Mercedes C class W202, the Honda Baby Boy without sentiments remains one of the most reliable car ever made.

Kindly leave a comment of your unbiased view of this ride, and the memories she leave with you.

Peace!

Bought my first used W202, for 440k, did some fixes definitely, that bothered around servicing, patching a leaking roof and changing the plugs. I sold it a year and 6months later for 430k. The next one U didn't gamble with used and it's simply perfect. You can't go wrong.

I am quite sentimental with vehicles, and sometimes feel unable to separate from a car for years as long as it's still performing well. My Mercedes 230 flat boot was a darling, it took apologies from family, friends and colleague to do away with that ride. I still regret it, not 1 major repair, chilling cold AC, and avoiding the prawling eyes of the envious where the benefit of that ride.

I can't agree more with op. Hondas are unfairly criticized but most of those who drive them know the truth about Honda. if well maintained and recommended fluids are used, you could be driving your honda for aeons without any major repairs.....Just like me.

Got this ride 4 years ago. I must admit, I had my reservations initially, however, i haven't been disappointed till date. Its extremely efficient if you don't joke with regular maintaninance and any unusual noises. The very few issues I had only recently was due to inexperienced mechanics. I drive through terrible roads regularly, yet, never had a "k-leg" incident. To be honest, its not the best ride in its generation but it is definitely one of the best.

it's a good ride no doubt but I still prefer the Camry 2.2. That's a very durable and resilient car. very enduring too
