Good evening. Kudos to all the mama's keeping this thread alive. Please o,for some days now my baby's temp feels very hot to touch. Checks via thermometer shows normal temp but her head and feet especially feels very hot. She eats and plays fine and is very active but I'm worried. I have been tempted to give Pcm once but I don't know again o. As at now,her head is very hot. Temp is reading 36.9.. does this mean anything? What can I do? Thanks

you have to go with the thermometer's reading. The temperature is within range. You can however do tepid bath to reduce the 'hotness' of the head.

For my kids, not always o.
Fruit ( I cut the apples, watermelon and pineapples ( make sure to use airtight containers cos the juice can mess the bag. Or juice them and put in a bottle.
Solid chocolate( if we have any)
Popcorn (older kids)
Groundnut (older kids that can chew)
Eggs (hardboiled or fried and diced)


In my class, nothing wey we nor dey see.
Cup yoghurt. Some make theirs with unsweetened yoghurt and a fruit pureed together and place in an airtight container.
Sandwich (filling is usually nutella, honey (above 12m kids o) or peanut butter) cut into finger size bits.
Grapes are always a hit. They are sweet and can be picked by tiny fingers and are soft and don't get sour (unlike watermelon and pineapples).
French fries
Sausages
Chicken bits. Chicken nuggets, fish fingers (you can get the almost done types in stores and all you have to do is deep fry for a few minutes)
Fruit bars
Dates (soft ones)
Fruit juice (from juicer o, I don't really like the commercial ones like that)
Carrots; washed and sliced in strips.
Cucumbers ( if your kids love it)

Pull socks and head wear off.
Leave the wet rag on her head.

No socks, no headwear. She developed carttarh from constant use of AC in the sitting room and bedroom. Could this be the culprit? Also, my baby only takes oats,cereals and Tom Brown to creche. Sometimes, Heinz food. I do the remaining blending and pureeing over the weekend but recently she has not been eating so well and I feel she is getting bored eating same thing over and over again. What quick foods can I rustle up for an almost 7month old baby? I wake up 4:30am and leave the house by 6am so i I need very quick recipes. I haven't given her all them rice,noodles or swallow cos I'm waiting for her to clock 7months

Uda water and schwepps ko, is there a reason you don't want to do family planning? You are fast on your way to pregnancy thread . Better to get one of those implants or injections if you have nothing against it, or read up billings method and take it seriously, that might work
