How many still remember the trekking trend in 2015 when President Muhammadu Buhari just came into power? A lot of people criticized the actions of the trekkers as hilariously unnecessary. However, something more seems to be arising ahead of the 2019 general election as there now exists a national association for interested trekkers with chapters in states (mainly Northern states). The question is what on earth can make an individual embark on a life-threatening walk to express support for a politician? Could it have been love or obsession?
