Why package it with " Udom is working" . Was it Udom's money that was used in setting up the factory or tax payers money. Everything in this country is turned to politics.

If the factory is state owned I would be glad if its given to private investor for proper management to avoid what has become of the ibom specialist hospital.

Gbam!!! You have said it all.

There are people who will not buy the pencil because the governor's picture is on the packet. Why put the governor's image there? Is it a social service or a profit making venture?

Nigeria don't need all dis pencil and toothpick matter... Let 2 or 3 refineries be functioning 100% and watch how the economy of this country would boost..

I blame the Shithole man from daura

If this project is run by the State, it's life span will not exceed 10 years. The fate of the moribund Paints and Ceramics factory will eventually befall it. Governments, especially African governments have no business with business...the Ethiopian Airlines is an exception though.

So shameful, in 2018, Nigerian govt. is still launching tooth pick and pencil factory and are very excited about it cry

The saddest part of it is the fact that every damn machinery there must have been imported. When will black Africans rise against all odds and defeat mediocre and technological drawback
It is always good to start.

This your talk is so interesting, some likes complain and to condemn the actions of many things that they cannot contribute an atom to people that likes complain and critiques never develop. If you take the sense you use in criticising to develop something you will develop plenty things

When other countries are showcasing fleet of trains and hydro chemical plants.... And all we're still trying to achieve is pencil and toothpick production that's not even at full stage yet!!

Such a shame to Nigeria.. I don't even know the offence I committed in heaven that made find myself in Nigeria at birth.
infact everything has been made n invented, but somethings r still thr to be invented.

Am from Akwa Ibom, i live in uyo, God will punish Udom and his Excos for lieing to the people of Akwa Ibom state, people of God honestly that project was a scam, it was only operational for 2 months after commissioning, as we speak, that factory is shut down....... Show us a prof of the product in market.....

Even the referal hospital is shut down

Better still, where can we buy ur pencil or tooth pick??

God punish udom and his team

If what your saying is true it's only a matter of time before they are exposed. It's the same way the specialist hospital shut down without a word from the state till journalist broke story.
