The rotavirus vaccine should be taken at 6weeks and at 10weeks. It's not free... You have to pay for it (ranges from 7k - 11k) and not all hospitals/health centers have it.
However if your baby didn't take the first dose at 6weeks, he can take still take it before 15weeks and the second dose taken 4weeks after.

Urgent assistance needed biko

Hello mama's. Please my boy has bn running temperature since Saturday morning. Especially anytime he sleeps and wake. Not too long he was given malaria drug(Baby lonart) yet the fever persists. We do give him paracetamol but that only subsides it for a while as the fever tends to come up weneva he's asleep. I initially was thinking the fever could be as a result of the molar teeth he's developing but I jus dnt know. even as im typing by dis time his temperature is very high.
Plz mamas any suggestions or any possible drugs I could get?

Does he have cough or catarrh or some difficulty in swallowing?
Did he complete the malaria dugs i.e twice daily for 3 days?
Why not go back to the hospital.

It might be an infection, same thing happened to my son, he will be needing antibotics ,I would advice you go to the hospital.
