He enacted a policy despite the opposition from the Republican party, making it difficult for people with mental health issues to acquire guns. Funnily enough it's one of the first things Trump rolled back

Na US dey do themselves, how would you allow guns to be sold to citizens all in the name of protecting themselves against criminals. Guns are Sold in shops and even a kid can get his or her hands on a gun, frustrated and depressed fellow now carry out mass shooting.

Stop Selling Guns all together to people, i know this cannot be possible because the Gun industry is a billion dollars industry for them but they should think about the disadvantages as well.

If not for the high unemployment rate and Islamic extremism in Nigeria resulting to people going into crime I would say Nigeria is even much more safer than the US.

The March for Action on Gun Violence in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was in front of the US Courthouse.

Many students, parents and teachers have been outspoken since the shooting about a need for better gun regulations

In Nigeria, one useless policeman will open fire on the crowd.
Looters will use the opportunity to exercise their talent.

Who purchases stuff from the black market, the good or bad people?

Ever wondered why folks are scared of robbing people anyhow? especially in their homes.

Who robs people? the good or bad. wink

That is what I am saying, the US govt knows the Ammunition manufacturers and it's a profit making industry. They should restrict them to selling to Governments of countries only, selling guns in the shops to people will only make sick and demented fellows to kill good citizens, angry, depressed and frustrated citizens killing fellow citizens. The disadvantage Far outweighs the advantage of protecting themselves against hardened criminals.

If Law enforcement does their Jobs well, it will curb crime. Why is Britain not practising this system of selling guns to people for protection? That's why there is far far less crime in Britain than the US.

when Obama was in power, what did he do about gun reform policy.
You can't say he didn't push for gun reform policies, but with Republicans controlling both houses, there was nothing he could do. It's a call for Republican politicians to do the needful even if that that means forgoing the NRA funding.

i really dont understand their gun control, since the days of the columbine massacre the us govt had been controlling guns, yet school shooting still occurs every now and then.
