I have not ignored the ways the teams play. I just pointed out that playing outside the box is over exaggerated to defend some players.

Even Vardy, playing for a weak team, plays outside the box and doesn't complain.

Raumdeuter, you should understand too that heatmaps show where a player used the ball mostly. For instance, if Salah stays at half way line, then run into attacking position to hold the ball and dribble it more there, heat map will not even show he was in half way. It will mark only the attacking position.

If Lukaku stays in the box and failed to control a pass, heatmap will not show Lukaku was in the box.

elampiro everybody knows Lukaku does not have Salah's speed or footwork. It was not there before, so it's not the case of if he has lost it. He has his strengths which would have been more pronounced if the team has been attacking well. He has been doing very well and he has shown great desire to be better.

Firmino is the striker in that team, with all the attacking tactics, he does not have more goals or assists than Lukaku.
