Just wondering because I've not really read outbursts of those who used their money to purchase those stocks here but of those been irritated by the ranting........... wonders shall never end shocked tongue

Sincerely speaking, it is not good to play with peoples' emotion especially when it has to do with money, taking into consideration the economic situation in the country. Some invested their savings, some sold properties to invest, while some invested with other peoples' money. It is enough trouble seeing their investment going downward. Then for you and other forum members to still be castigating/mocking them is like a direct insult.

The truth is that everybody cannot enter stocks at the same time, some will enter early, some late and some when the trouble is at its peak. That is life. Even if you go to the street and start throwing money everywhere, some people will still not be able to get there at the right time either by omission/commission.

Please let us learn to tolerate each other no matter the situation. With due regards please.

Oga, I agree with you. Like or hate them they are spot on most of the time. I remember when Oga Wanajo sounded a note of caution on my darling UCAP. I was waxing lyrical saying it must perform than last year. Emotions. Oga RabbidOracle and others that most have termed prophets of doom are only doing the job of helping to balance our emotions. There are some stocks that will bring quick money but the reversal could be disastrous. At least we know that no matter what they say, the market has the final say.

Why did you wait this long to throw your stone?

Read all the other comments by 10pm at night. Only read the ones relevant to your trade action during trading period.

Stone ke? Even if I liquidate my portfolio today, I will come out in green. Mature men should just learn when to keep quiet and hold their peace, not just looking for the tiniest of opportunities to rant.

Funny peeps think anybody who complains is hurting. If this was a paid forum, these noise makers would have since been taken out.

Dividend proposed is N10.50 (2016: N8.50)....Dividend yield is 3.96% based on today's closing price of N265

You can't compare oracle posts with that of wanajo.
Warning people about taking positions in some stocks is not the problem and I can't remember the last time anyone throws stone at wanajo.
What oracle and mendes have been doing here lately is to say the least childish

I mixed up the gray bars with the interstitial white background in my initial view.
But it will be wiser of you to just point things out without gutter language as if yourself are immune to mistakes or else you could be equally trolled the day you make one.

I have just been thinking. A company releases a good result and the price nosedived. If a company releases a bad result, it means we will all be invited to a funeral cheesy. I don't understand angry

This is a personal question with no wrong or right answer. As at today, it looks like this

35% are in stocks (NSE)

15% in foreign stocks

35% in Real Estate

10% in Cash (Mainly Forex)

5% in Money Market in various forms

I keep cash BUT mainly in forex because I have forex exposures and help to hedge against devaluation. Cash to me is king. I like being liquid

I don't do bonds. Nothing against it though.

I also like UCAP (even though I hate company's associated with Tony) BUT I always try to remove extraordinary items when making my analysis. It is always good to understand the numbers.

I am surprised that people are disturbed by Oracle's post. Managing your emotions is basic to successful investing. Problem is that many are investing without a strategy/plan. They were told money can be made on the NSE, the saw the bulls and they felt prices will always go up, everyone became an expert.

For me, this is the time to step back and develop a real investment plan/strategy that first into your age, income, future plans and risk profile/appetite. . Filter out the noise and fire on!

If people IGNORE the daily price fluctuations, there are bargains on the NSE for the patient investors.

You be millennial? If not, you suppose know those ellpee plates that need a pin to be on them to play. When the record is broken, the pin can't move beyond the broken part and keeps repeating that recording on that spot.
