My guy abeg no vex. I just Dey wonder who Igbo people be and where dem come from. Tell us una history.
Only the great Benin kingdom and all Edo people get true history.

Which kingdom? Anambra state alone is bigger and richer than the so called kingdom. Please shift. Edo no get mouth were Igbo dey.

Go and research the Nri civilization. The oldest civilization in the entire West Africa. Igbos are the real aboriginals of this country. After we came then all the others joined. This is the history. Now run along and go do the research so you can learn.

Hahaha.. You make me laugh.
Black Africans came out of the Edo people.
Benin kingdom is the first African kingdom, it is the oldest and also the last African kingdom.
Benin kingdom existed before Christ.
Earliest civilization in West Africa was Edo people.
We were first to form a civilized society.

Kindly go to hell.
Igbanke are Edo, you guys calling yourself biafran-igbo are verry deluded, you want to take over land which never belonged to you and your excuse is "hey, the people of the land are igbo, so their land belongs to enugu". F*ck enugu, if you are not Edo then live Edo alone. We Edo, we had a real country of our own before the creation of nigeria. Now you guys are trying to devide us based on nonsense, you can just go to hell !!!!
For your information, A part of my ancestry is from Nsuka, one of my ancestors was the Obi there. We are Edo and we are loyal to our Oba.
You need to put this into your head !!!! You will not build your utopia on our land. Use your own land to build your own biafra and live our land and people alone !

GodIsBiafran:

Keep shut there. When your people were opposing our union with our Igbanke clan in Edo state where were you? You people were making noise on this forum that there is no Igbo land in Edo state. Even though it is very clear that the Igbanke are bonafide Igbos.

I am Edo, many of my ancestors would more than qualify as Igbo, but they were Edo citizens as loyal to their country (Benin Kingdom) as anybody can be. They all fought for the Benin Kingdom and served their king Omo n'Oba n'Edo with the greatest loyalty. And some fool from Enugu thinks we somehow belong not the country of our ancestors (Benin Kingdom) but to some utopian state which they want to call biafra ! You want to unite with us ? Bow down to our King if you want to unite with us. Unite under what ? Under your king or chief ? Please get some sense. Just imagine china claiming china town in america. The fact that some Edo share some closeness with igbo should be a point of union between the two peoples, instead you people from enugu think you can use that to devide the Edo and claim parts of their land. So just imagine china claiming china town in america.

Onitsha used to be Benin territory. Abi u no know?
Many places in Igbo land whenever they are doing ceremony before they break kola or pray they will first ask if a Benin man is around to come break the kola or say opening prayer.
This is because Benin once conquered and ruled parts of Biafra.

If you think we will allow one square inch of Igbanke land to be ceded to you and your useless village principal then you must be smoking something really strong. IGBANKE are Igbos and the land they occupy is an ancestral Igbo land. STOP SPREADING LIES ON THE INTERNET!
Re: The Origin Of Lagos And Bini Relationship by Nobody: 12:57am On Mar 21, 2018
A fool from enugu coming here to claim Edo land !
on which precolonial map does that land appear as biafran land ?
On all precolonial maps it appears as part of Benin Kingdom !
This here is why people oppose your biafra and this is why it will never come to exist: you want to take land which doesn't belong to you.
It is funny that you who is talking, you are not even Edo, yet you think being igbo entitles you to speak on behalf of my Edo brothers whom you precieve as being igbo. This a the behaviour of a predator. My Igbanke people have their own mouths and their will and they never elected you (a non Edo) to speak on their behalf. If by now you can't see that you are acting like a vulture then you are not self aware at all.
Your biafran land is so small and lacks ressources, that is why you keep trying to claim land which never belonged to you.
Do your worse anyway, your biafra is dead on arrival, as usual.

I hope you know that before you made this claim, nobody else ever made it !
So how in hell could this be a fact ?
Where is proof of your claim ?
Show me the precolonial maps which prove your claim !
The liar here is you.
The Obi of Onitsha himself recognises Benin Kingdom as the origin of his crown.
You are such a fool.
Now I know why people keep saying the biafran movement is driven by uneducated people.
You need to go back to primary 1.

Until you learn to keep to your little village East of Ore, you will continue to gba-abode on this Yoruba owned forum.

By the way how many major roads go through that village? Isn't there an Ijaw king scaring the little village shade wearing headmaster as we speak?

Edo people are the most unintelligent piece of shits on this forum, every single one that identifies with Bini

I'm amazed! I wonder why Yorubas have been allowing them so far

The only people with hatred for the truth is Yorubas. You guys can’t accept the truth that Great Benin conquered and ruled Yoruba.

And accept the truth that 70% of present yorubas are offspring of former slaves dumped in Lagos by the British at the end of slave trade.

I just said 70% of present day yorubas are slave descendants. Yorubas I know are actually educated. You are not original Yoruba, probably the 70%..
Benin City is the oldest City in Sub-Sahara region, founded 400bc. Oba Ewuare expanded the kingdom and made it greater and stronger conquering Yoruba and reaching as far as Dahomey.
Please idiot go do your research again.

Also, what kind of "history student" can't even spell the name of a city which he claims to have studied.
For your info, it is Benin City, not "bini city".
Besides, it has never been established that Benin City was created in the 14th century.
Some of the bronze stolen by the british in the Oba's palace were made in the 13th or 14th century.
That doesn't mean that the city didn't exist before that date. It actually means that the city already existed in that period of time. (Besides the fact that the portuguese visited Benin Kingdom in that period of time).
You have always been a slowpoke trying to gain credibility by constantly claiming that you are a history student.
I don't even understand the focus on Benin City, this must be because you most likely still don't understand that the city is only the capital of the kingdom, not the kingdom itself.

Benin City is the capital of Benin Kingdom. The Oba is the King of the entire Kingdom !

1. It is accurate to say Bini, not a corrupted version "Benin" by Portugess. Ibini is what Oba Ewedo named the city after defeating Ogiamien.
2. The entry of the Oba and take over from the Ogiamien saw the foundation of a new city. The Obas ruled only from Uselu prior to this
The land and forms of government have existed for long but just as Abuja was founded in the 1980s from new city plans
3. Try me then. Rather than bring stupid

You are an imposter, and you are too dumb to even look nearly legitimate.
Only mediocre people and imposters boast of being students.
Real archievers would talk about papers they actually published.
Or would prove their points without mentionning their cvs.
In your case, you are an imposter, a liar mixing wikipedia trash with yoruba beer parlour talks ( the intersection of the 2 latter is not empty).
What annooys me the most when talking to lunatics like you is your incredible arrogance.
There are 600 years old maps which clearly show "BENIN KINGDOM", yet you are here claiming that the real name is "bini" and that Benin is a portuguese corruption. Which brings me to my question: did you do some time travel to get to that information ? Did you go back in time for ... let us say 1000 years ? The Edo say Benin, the europeans who paid visits to the Kingdom also said Benin, but you the yoruba guy, you know it better than everybody else, right ? "na bini"..."we y.a.r.i.b.a, know Edo history better than Edo, the british, the portugues and so on...". Freaking lunatic yoruba fools.
One day, someone would have to explain the link between a well known imposter "ogiamen idiot" and the yoruba fake-history peddlers. Who exactly is using who in this unholly alliance.
