Agrited has just one specie; which is the Ross 308 strain while Cascada Royal has the Hubbard and the Abor acre Plus strain.

Go for agrited but never manage food or else you waste your time.

In the end, it’s all about your management practice. I’d strongly recommend the Ross 308 Breed

@Aniody, pls can you snap your cage very well for me to see, I just did mine and my birds of 7weeks could not walk on it, I had to quickly sell it because I was tired of transferring them up and down. I did the cage like 4times, in all it seems I still wasted money. Pls if you don't mind send me close pictures to this watsup number or you drop your number so I search for you. This is also my first time. Thanks 08158185837

I'm new in this business. Can someone explain to me, those technicalities you've been using above. Like agrited, doc, Ross, royal, and so on. I'm not flowing again.

Thanks
Re: Xmas Broiler Broading In Pictures by Turks: 8:41am On Apr 07, 2018
Ross 308 - A Broiler breed
Agrited - A brand that owns a hatchery that hatches day old Broilers and layers
DOC - An acronym for Day sold Chicks
Royal - ??

Why not stay with 100? It won’t be profitable to start with 40 not 50 birds in my opinion. It’s good to start small but with layers, it’s a game of numbers.

Thank you for the quick response, I am doing the layers for family not for business and I really don't have space for that capacity at the moment.

I have 46 broilers in stock, they were 4-5 weeks,i have a plan to market and sell it at 8wks old,pls how much can i sell it and how easy i can market it this time around because their is no festive period toward my market days.NOTE SIR this is my first timer sir,i need your reasonable advice urgently.thanks
Asking people how much to sell your broiler is totally out of it. since you have your simple farm record where all expenses are recorded try and check this and fix a profit margin for your self may be you want to gain 500 per bird after the total cost

Please I am still waiting to be schooled about layers, or is it the process with broilers?
Re: Xmas Broiler Broading In Pictures by Turks: 6:24am On Apr 08, 2018
No it’s not. The process of raising layers is quite lengthy because they tend to stay around a lot longer than Broilers. They’re to be in the brooder for 6weeks. The first three weeks, they’re to be fed Superstarter mash, the following 3weeks; chick mash. From then on, they’re to be fed grower mash till they commence lay; once their egg production hits 5-10%, you gradually switch to layer mash this is not to say that antibiotics and vaccination programs would be jettisoned. The vaccination schedule should be followed religiously. The target weight for layers to commence lay is 1.5kg, however, some birds lay between 1.35-1.45kg but the standard weight is 1.5kg. Just as for Broilers, lighting is also very important for layers. As time goes on, you’ll understand all these as this is just a summary of what to expect.

Thanks Very Much,my Concern Now is that my broilers is consuming too much of feeds and it seem am runin to loss by buying feed.the more their days the more they consume feed and the market stage of it now is within n1500, the problem their is all about market value for it,some wil buy it from you with a price you wl apr8,but some other way round.

The most reason why studying market trend in your environment is very important when raising broilers. You can embark on market campaign telling family members, church members, your coworkers who have outings or event that may warrant buying chickens. or if you have any frozen food outlet around you meet them in person. The longer your broilers stay the smaller your profit margin becomes and pray you don't experience any mortality.

It might be STAMPEDE from your description. If they are too much in the cage you can separate them to work freely in the cage. Animals are like human.
