this is omoagege first tenure on the senate if u don't know. A very brilliant and vibrant senator. Has so many uncountable constituency projects presently. He is not a weakling. He knows the law. Well learned barrister. A son to justice omoagege who sentenced anini to death in the old bendel state. He is different.. He plays is politics well. Ask ighoyota amori who he chased from the seat through the law. Agege is not a puppet to sarakis who don't obey the laws. He is not malaye who follows saraki up and down. First of all, back to sender with your zonbi compliment, I believe you must be referring to you family and generation. And then, before you go jumping about the forest, let's be clear; I only called out the flawed logic in your assertion that the presidency had a hand in the snatching of the mace and the injunction given by a court (judiciary) to prevent the senator from being arrested. The man was illegally suspended simply for airing his opinion which was contrary to senate leadership. He obviously doesn't need presidential approval to be angry over such oppression. And and then again, it is pointless to claim the presidency controls the judiciary ftom where hr was able to secure an injunction to prevent his arrest

At no time did I directly or indirectly allude that it was right to snatch the mace; I only clarified (since you chose to act ignorant of this) that snatching of the mace is just a form of protest intended to disrupt procredings, this also isnt the first time we are seeing this happen in that chamber.

Meanwhile, to answer your question, yes the senator challenged his suspension in court. If only you bothered reading, you should have read that in some of the reports on this case.

What's the position of the law? Can a senator be suspended? Even the senate in-house rule, a senator can only be suspended for not more than 14days.

So where did the 6months suspension come from? Saraki is feigning ignorance of the law and wielding unnecessary power to himself.

He sought the court because that's the reasonable thing to do.
