The Muslim were the only people who were reading & writing, centuries before the coming of the white man. That's why the oyibo respected them more than the savage, troublesome, pagan Southerners. So, naturally, the existing writing had to be respected & given consideration at independence... 1 Like |

[quote author=alBHAGDADI post=68020593]Nice one FFK. I hereby dub you a Crusader. The Arabic inscription on the Nigeria Army coat of arms is Nasrunminallah. It means ''Victory Comes From God Alone''. Checking closely, you will notice that the word we get as the English word for God in the translation is Allah. Lying Muslims will also tell you that Allah means God or is the Arabic equivalent of the English word God. This is a big lie which I will prove below. In the Islamic Shahada, which is the words you swear when you want to become a Muslim, which most of you are aware of cos that's what this forum makes you swear before you comment on an Islamic thread, we find the word for God which clearly isn't Allah. Look Below. The Shahada: There is no god but Allah In Arabic: La ilaha illallah The word for god is ilaha. If Muslims lie by saying that allah means god, then the appropriate translation will be 'There is no god but god''. This doesn't make any sense. Hence, the reason why they put the name of their god Allah there. Can you all now see that Allah is not the word for God but the name of a god, the Muslim god? Why do we have the name of the Muslim god on the chest of our soldiers many of whom are adherents of other faiths? Is Nigeria an Islamic nation? Are the Christians, Atheists, traditionalists who are soldiers in the army now to be called soldiers of Allah? This must be changed. As a Muslim, before you go on the defensive, ask yourself if it is fair to other faith.[/quote Are you fair to Muslim so for understanding sake let see if you are fair.English is word is Bible word No work on Sunday is fair Closing of the year in December to celebrate Christmas and your new year is fair Working on Friday is just Paying of salary before December 25 is fair This is ramadan are we paid before we start or paid because it coming to an end while salary are structure to favour you for Easter and Christmas Just to highlight a few Mr fair |

I read your post which sounds very funny to me. You posted what you have a little or no knowledge about. Bismillahi rahmani raheem Allah is not a god(g) but God(G) the creator of the universe,he is God of Prophet Abraham,Nuoah,Isa(Jesus),Muhammad and all the creatures of the world. In the Arabic word La illah illalah, which means there is no god(g) but Allah(GOD) who is deserved to be worship. There is no god, here doesn't mean Allah is a small god. He(Allah is not a small god,in that sentence,it means anything god is regarded as a small god, while Allah is God(the Almighty) implies Allah the true God,who is over the small god(g) which some people still took as God(creator). So,therefore shahadah states that there is no small god that deserved to be worshipped except Allah(the true God);because he is greater than anything both in Heaven and Earth. A god(small) cannot be compared to Allah(the true God). Note:God name is Allah, because it is the name that is revealed in Holy Scripture(Quran) through Angel Gabriel. It also the name mentioned in Quran,Injil,Torah,Psalms and other scriptures. Which some has been distorted and tampered with. May Allah make the religion of Islam be understandable to the other parties and guide them to Truth(Ameen). 1 Like |

alBHAGDADI: You were making sense until you trying to twist the translation of the Shahada. You don’t have to talk about what you don’t know. You don’t even understand Arabic cos if you do you want expose your ignorance. The Ilaha part is just a word corruption like say in in American English ... You wanna eat and you want to eat. Or in Yoruba saying.. Mama mi to Maami You made some solid point but destroyed it with your ignorance on that part of the translation. Don’t quote me!!! |

alBHAGDADI: First, I'll cut your wings by saying you got the meaning wrong! Nasr minnallah' means 'help is from Allah alone ' and not victory. Victory in Arabic actually means FATH. So the complete slogan is ''Nasru minnallah, wa fat-hun qareeb'',meaning ''help is from Allah alone, and victory is near''. Learn. Learn again. The shahada 'LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH' actually means, there is no diety worthy of worship except God (Allah of course). This is because every religion accept without discrepancies that there is only one God. But their idols are just mere mediators between them and Him. That's where you have eledumare in the Yoruba ifa religion. If you don't know, you have an opportunity to simply ask, rather than display a show of ignorance, doing so confidently at that. Now I'll address the language issue you want to have hypertension over. The British government should be questioned, since that inscription has existed since then. It was used as a means to motivate the hausa majority in the Nigerian army and encourage more of them to join. This same British army wavered a weekend time off on Fridays for Muslims, but retained Sundays according to their biblical beliefs. In fact, Saturdays also for the Christian denominations that do not belief Sunday is Sabbath. But Muslims have not cried like a goat. Waec examinations have held during Jumuah prayers and heaven has not fallen. In all, it is just a mere language inscription same as we have French slogans as motto of some organizations in Nigeria, and not religious. Allah is God and you're free to take it or come here to hang yourself. 5 Likes 1 Share |

alBHAGDADI: Your writeup looks like you actually know what you are saying but to some of us who have better knowledge, you are only but an ignorant. Now lemme shine my brightness of intelligence on the darkness of your ignorance. The shadaa that you quoted ''there is no god but Allaah''..the god in this contest means any other deity men worship save the creator and that's why it started with small letter. Go check the translation of Allah in the quran and you'll discover that it's "God" but always starts with capital letter. In the Arabic write up ''la ilah ilalah''.. It's actually ''ila Allah'' the reason why it's writen ilalah should be understood if your English is good. Lastly, plz work on your faith and focus on your relationship with God as hating Muslims is not a gurantee to heaven. Shalom! 3 Likes |
