Lukas could become another wizard football master. I just saw him played once for Man City first team and I was belle full he is good enough for the Super Eagles but no...NFF is waiting he becomes super star finish before dem start to chase em shadows.

I have also seen Bashiru played for Manchester City first team and I think he will be a good addition.

I have not seen his elder brother and Amaechi hence I can't comment on them.
Oga whether dem good or not make we dey cap dem go instead of 5 years old Kwara Polytechnic graduates playing for U 21.

even if it were true, you have likes of Tosin Kehinde who are loyal to Nigeria. You can't win all.. You win some.. and Aina still has a future with Nigeria but he must be ready to even fight harder.

Messi Ignores Ronaldo, Super Eagles Stars In List Of Players To Shine In Russia

Argentine captain, Lionel Messi has picked eight players he thinks will shine at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia – but left out archrival Portugal captain and Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo as well as all the players from the other Group D opppnents from his list.

The three time African Champions who qualified for a sixth FIFA World Cup have in their ranks Mikel Obi of Tianjin TEDA, Alex Iwobi of Arsenal, Victor Moses of Chelsea and Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester but none was mentioned by the five time Ballon d’ Or winner.

Got something to say? The let your voice be heard! Back Pass *Sport related topics only*
“Brazil have Neymar and Philippe [Coutinho],” Messi was quoted in Manchester City Evening News.

“Spain have Andres Iniesta and [David] Silva. Germany don’t have any one star but they are very solid.”

“Belgium have [Eden] Hazard and [Kevin] De Bruyne. France have [Antoine] Griezmann and [Kylian] Mbappe.

“The tournament is full of very good players.”

Messi will be hoping to lead his side to a third World Cup glory in Russia having lost out in the finals in the 2014 edition in Brazil.

Argentina will kick off their campaign against Iceland before battling Croatia and Nigeria in group D.

World Cup: Eagles fly into Russia in traditional attire on Monday night
By Abdulquadir Adedapo - June 9, 2018

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will arrive Russia on Monday night from their Avita Resort in Austria as the Gernot Rohr-tutored boys continue to put finishing touches to their tactics ahead of their World Cup opener against Croatia 5-days later, AOIFootball.com can authoritatively confirm.
The Eagles will be staying at the magnificent Sanatory Istochnik in Essentuki and will arrive in an all white traditional attire with a design of green at the top of their shirt, signifying the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria as they prepare to take the world by storm in Russia.
With just one win from five pre-world cup friendlies, the team will have to put up a spirited display in Kaliningrad if they are to surpass their previous Round of 16 achievement which was equalled four years ago in Brazil.
Nigeria is drawn in Group B alongside two-time champions Argentina, Croatia and debutants Iceland; they take on the Luka Modric- led Croatia next Saturday by 8pm.

The white native attire has green embroidery of the Super Eagles emblem on the chest.

The white trousers and predominantly white tunic go with white shoes with knots of green at the top to match.

A white South-South style hat completes the dashing outfit.

Odion Ighalo and John Ogu have both posted pictures of them wearing the new attire.

Kylian’s father, Wilfred Mbappe, who has Cameroonian and Nigerian roots, was once a refuge, who migrated to France for greener pastures. According to reports, Wilfred in a bid to get a permanent stay got married to an Algerian-French lady Fayza, an ex-handball player

Kylian was given a Yoruba middle name Adesanmi meaning “crown fits me” by Wilfred, who also adopted a son, Jirès Kembo Ekoko, a professional footballer of Congolese descent, but has a biological son and younger brother of Kylian named Adeyemi Mbappe, in recognition of his Nigerian roots.

Mbappé was born in Paris. His father Wilfried hails from Cameroon and, as well as being his agent, is a football coach, while his Algerian mother Fayza is a former handball player. His adoptive brother Jirès Kembo Ekoko is also a professional football player. He also has a younger brother named Adeyemi Mbappé.

Even if yoruba is there,i am still looking for the yoruba roots, and mind you some tribes in cameroun bear nigerian native names? Mostly the calabars, even many people in benin republic bear yoruba names and also some togolese.

Nigerians are quick to claim any player, cameroun should be the people claiming mbappe and not you,as far as me andrew and the world is concerned Mbappe is not nigerian, but maybe in your eyes and some nairaland analyst he is a nigerian, keep on looking for abroad born players.

Sorry bro but u talk like u mentally deranged sometimes. You and Southgate were the ones bashing and trolling here that Iwobi came into the team without a single first team football for Arsenal, and that it was the influence of Okocha that caused that not that he merited it. But today you want us to ply that same route we used to get iwobi (getting them before they blossom)?

Yes not a true story cos Aina and Agu took Rohr decision with good faith and even wish the team well.

Even though I posted the news myself I doubt its authenticity.

Dele Bashiru couldn't have said that after saying few years ago that pulling on the GWG is a dream.

Alaba was popular in media but not enough to merit a Super Eagles call up. Iwobi was not 17 when he debuted for us. So I wonder why you are bringing that up. Also an Arsenal academy player has more popularity than an Austria Wein player. Alaba also made his debut for the Austrian National team before he played for the main team of Bayern. Not our fault in any way.

No dont call it cheating they won us,did they gave them a free penalty goal?

So because matuidi was yellow carded for injuring onazi.

How are you sure we are going to win the french team with onazi on the field?

We are not the ones that tell the refree to cancel the goal.

But are we the one that tell the refree to give matuidi yellow card?

Nigerians should learn how to accept defeat and move on,nigerians always looking for a way to call any game they lost ojoro.

We all know we wont win that french team but we are always looking for silly excuses.
