It's a thought for another day. If the Bishop is so convinced of his faith, why will he rather allow his mother to take a different path? Is the the body and blood of Christ no longer a criterion for heavenly glory? There's a lot of questions to the pics though. What is then the essence of evangelism?

Na wa oo. Should he force his mum out of Islam. That is her deen and they are living together as mother and son in peace why must he now try to change it as if his mum does not have a mind of her own.

He is a priest, not a pastor. He does not collect offering or tithe directly, and is subject to transfer at a moment's notice even to as far as Somalia, so your analogy is completely wrong. Priests swear to Chastity, Poverty and Obedience. Same with reverend sisters.

There are Christian with Muslims wives. I went to the school with the children of 2 that I know of. They were both Yoruba. I'm yet to see a Northern family have that dynamic tho.

Actually sierra leone is a peaceful country when it comes to religious matters.

Nigerian schools really need to start teaching more of other african countries. We are becoming more ignorant and arrogant by the day in regards to our cooperation with other frican nations.

freedom of religion is enshrined in the Nigerian constitution. so y not?... it takes tolerance and understanding for such to happen. if u should ask the Bishop some questions about how he started, he will tell u it wasn't easy abinitio. but dialogue n undstanding was parmount
