The Bishop Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Onitsha: Rt. Rev. B. Livinus Onuagha and Priests in the Diocese took to parts of Ochanja and Amobi Markets in Onitsha, Anambra State to speak hope and empathise with the people affected and effected by the fire incident that ravaged parts of the markets on Wednesday 16th October.

The Bishop brought them words of hope from God and the Church, with emphasis that all hope is not gone. He sympathized with the families of those that lost dear ones to death via the inferno as some of them were captured on media lenses

Prayers were said to invoke divine and human help speedily as the Church will not be left behind in helping out financially! Worthy is the lamb.

Instead of doing a root cause analysis of inferno and make recommendations to avert and same time recommend ways to mitigate against such in the future.
