Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God? Going straight to the point without beating about the bush, the answer is no. Nominal Christians and Muslims always carelessly say we worship the same God but a devoted worshiper of either of this religions can sincerely tell you we are not worshiping the same God. Consider the following few attributes of Allah in Quran and God in the Bible then you can make the judgement by yourself. No addition whatsoever, let the Bible, Quran and the hadith speak for themselves on these few nature of God.
Son of God Bible: Mark 9:7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. Quran: 6:101. He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have children when he has no wife? He created all things and He is the All-Knower of everything
Love for the world/sinners Bible:John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Quran: Qur’an 3:31-32—Say [O Muhammad]: If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers.
Condition for end of the world Bible: Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Hadith: Sahih Muslims 41:6985 Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
Love in the family Bible: Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. Quran: 34. Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allāh has made one of them to excel the other, and because they spend (tosupport them) from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient (to Alläh : and to their husbands), and guard the husband's absence what Allah orders them to guard (e.g. their chastity and their husband's property). As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next) refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Alläh is Ever Most High, Most Great.
Guarantee for heaven Bible: Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Quran: Surat 9:111 Verily. Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties for (the price) that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allah's Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurat (Torah) and the lnjil (Gospel) and the Our‘an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success.
Propagation Bible: Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Quran: Surat 8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polythcism, i.e. worshipping others besides Allah). and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah). then certainly. Allah is All-Seer of what they do!”
Apostasy Bible: (An example was found in the Bible but no prescribed punishment in the New Testament.) 2 Timothy 4:10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. Quran: Surat 4:89. They wish that you reject Faith, as they have rejected (Faith), and thus that you all become equal (like one another). So take not Aaliyé' (protectors or friends) from them till they emigrate in the way of Allah (to Muhammad is ). But if they turn back (from Islam). take (hold of) them and kill them wherever you find them and take neither Auliya (protectors or friends) nor helpers from them
Sexuality in heaven Bible: Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Quran: Surat 55:70. Therein (Gardens) will be Khairatun-Hisan [fair (wives) good and beautiful]: 72. Hur (beautiful fair females) guarded in pavilions; 74. With whom no man or jinni has had Tamth (sexual intercourse) before them. Surat 78: 31-34 verily for the muttaqun there will be a success (paradise); gardens and vineyards and young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age.
Whether contrary religious worshipers will get to heaven Bible: John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Quran: Surat 3:85 And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam as a religion, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.
After considering this few attributes of God I believe you can tell whether this are the same God or not. The choice is yours to choose who to follow but never make the mistake of assuming these are the same God. They are far apart, it is a matter of life or death, heaven or hell. Make sure you make a wise decision.
No! There is no same God between these religions. Why do you think Abraham threw Haggai & Son out of his house? (It is because of the bile of bitterness Haggai was sowing in the life of Ishmael).
Abraham checked it out and said Kai... This is pure unadulterated wukkednez!!!
Light and darkness cannot share the sky. YHWH is the only true God.

Christian God and muslin God's are not the real gods, it has to be the God of the jews as contained in the Tanakh or old testament.. Which is also the God of the igbos, which they call Chukwu, he is also the God of the yoruba which they call Eledumare...
The God of the Christian and Muslim was created by Romans and Arabs to mock the God of the jews and deceive the world.

It is good that u cannot point to any error in those Quran verses in my post but I don't understand the list u have put up here. Another point worth of notice is that you have not produce any reference from the New Testament which is the perfect instruction to the Christians.
I will only ask you two questions. 1. Where in the Bible did God commanded similar judgement as regards the Quran verses in the post? 2. Where in the Quran or hadith did Allah or Muhammad also have similar commandments as u can see in the Bible references in the post?
If you can't provide the answer then you don't have any point for objecting at all.
MuttleyLaff: 9But Sarah saw that the son whom Hagar the Egyptian had borne to Abraham was mocking her son, 10and she said to Abraham, “Expel the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with my son Isaac!” - Genesis 21:9-10
Your head is correct and right there, You do know that mocking, in that context, is an euphemism for caressing
No they don't. The saying that they are the same is an ignorant and dubious way of eliminating the differences between both groups that would have prevented them from mingling in peace in a secular society.

While atheists continue with their failed plot to start religious wars and force a wedge between Muslim, Christians and Jews, Jesus is eternally embedded in the Jewish Torah. Then it is also eternally embedded into the Qur'an making it impossible for the SATANIC atheists mission to succeed in their fierce battle to portray JESUS as a fictional character.
Today, Jewish Rabbi's and Imams together with kings and presidents joyfully worship and praise the almighty Jesus in public.
They testify that they have learned the hidden truth about Jesus from studying the greatest spiritual learning channel called Emmanuel TV

So how does this relates with the matter on ground?
Stalwart61: So how does this relates with the matter on ground?
You should have been diligent enough to notice that my first and second post on this thread was in response to beatcoins' comment and not to how whatnot relates with any matter on any ground
Stalwart61: Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God?
The Bible and Quran are books of inspiration but clearly they are not from the same source as in the same GOD! But those claiming to believe in the two books can be worshippers of the same God if they're having the same beliefs. For example God said HE made man from dust and if man becomes useless due to disobedience HE(God) Will cause him to return to the dust. But majority of those claiming believers today are saying God will not grant rebels amongst men a return to nonexistence but torment them forever. Of course they are having the same mindset and certainly they're worshipping the same God!
