Chai. The way/manner you come up with assumptions. Just sit down and clap for yourself. Do you read these annual reports upside down?
Please clarify me on Transcorp and Transcorp hotel.
I remember I used to have Transcorp before IPO of Transcorp hotel, which use to be most profitable arms of Transcorp. After listing transcorp hotel as a new company there was no percentage of unit offerd to me in their newly carved out and listed transcorp hotel as a share holder of Transcorp.

Instead the price of the main Transcorp started dropping from #6 back to 50/60 kobo? Can your clarify me if am wrong, did you get your portion in the newly listed transhotel then?.

Please house is there any negative news on Jberger? why is the price tumbling?
No negative news whatsoever on JB, just the general market bearish condition. I have JB as well and do not have any fear on it as I expect their Q2 to be ok. The result may likely be released by first week of August, but till then, the bear may still do some phython dance around the stock. Albeit, I am still buying in tranches as it comes lower. Good Luck.

Go and read any FY result of Transcorp PLC. There and there, you will see the relationship between Transcorp PLC (Group) and Transcorp Hotels (Subsidiary). Transcorp Plc owns about 84% of Transcorp Hotels.

I can't clarify whether I got any shares of Transhotel, I already told you I don't own the shares of Transcorp Plc.

I think I get your confusion... You are comparing the spin off of UBCap/AfriPrud from UBA to whatever happened in Transnational Corporation. The scheme wasn't the same.

This is why oando rallied.

If so, why didn't FO rally as well? Sellers got tired, if you check the volume sold yesterday and how activity went, the signs were already there that reversal was imminent. It remains to show how far it will go.

At about 40,000 boe and average crude price of $72 for 2nd quarter, Oando might turn in about 42k EPS and the earlier they release the result, it might sustain the upswing.

Make we dey watch shaaa.

FO will surely rally today. Watch and see. They are the highest beneficiary of this payment when you consider their outstanding shares. If they get paid, we can expect it to add about 12naira to their eps.

These kind news those day will take an average of 4-6months to reflect in share price; don't know why we expect a rally now and here

the money received will add what to their EPS. This cannot be true. What the funds will succeed in doing is to reduce the Receivables and increase the cash position of the company either by reducing the bank loans and overdrafts or increase the cash and cash equivalent. It has little bearing on the profit or loss account as the finance charges will reduce a bit maybe in 2018 and 2019 accounts.

Debts (Receivables) are shown in Balance Sheet not profit and loss. So not sure how payment will affect the EPS except they've made provision for those debts previously and hence planning to do a write back!

I think it will impact their balance sheet and improve their liquidity. Direct impact on EPS is minimal if any.
