Those 120 criminals have a case to answer, they must be arrested and prosecuted. They are surely hiding something

Personally, I think the SARS/FSARS Operatives should still wear the usual uniforms we recognize them with.. But they shouldn't go out on raids, and all divisional police headquarters should have the SARS/FSARS unit and they should only honour when a call is put through to them.
My Opinion.

Na so e suppose be na, for usa SWAT only comes on special purposes.

They can all go to hell.

Bunch of criminals that changed from what they were employed to do to extortion and harassment of citizens.
Special attention should go to the group that stays at Benin Bypass, they now use POS machine. I am sure they have killed innocent people inside that bush.

Nonsense, all UK police where the same uniforms.
They only need the T-shirt to intimidate the public.
You arrest through intelligent reports and not quack way again.

This is good news.

Can Buhari just stay back and continue his (medical) vacation in London, so that Yemi Osinbajo can continue with his good work? the few days he has held the helm of affairs has seen some dramatic positive directions on everything.

Osinbajo body Odour don put fear for IGP body, and his ABOVE THE LAW Sars don dey run too.
there is a SARS unit just the next fence to the lodge where I live and I tell you, they have calmed down. They don't use matchete again to flog

What I understand from the writeup is different from the headline. They're requesting to be transferred from SARS to another unit within the police, a process called 'demobbing'. Their reason for wanting so is because they feel the change of dress code will make their job much harder.

I don't see where they asked to leave Lagos. cc Lalasticlala Mynd44 Dominique Seun

BUT ARE YOU GUYS REALLY CHASING ARMED ROBBERS, KIDNAPPERS ? YOU ARE THEN NOBODY WILL CALL FOR THE REORGANIZATION OF THE UNIT, BUT INSTEAD YOU GUYS TURNED INTO ARMED ROBBERS YOURSELVES, THEY ALWAYS SAY THE GUILTY ARE AFRAID, THESE 120 ASKING TO BE DEMOBBED SHOULD BE PROPERLY INVESTIGATED YOU WILL FIND OUT THAT MOST OF THEM HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN SHADY DEALS.

So the black shirts with scorpion they were wearing before were not uniforms?

In other countries, they are special squad (SWAT) that shows in times of emergency. They don't mount roadblocks to harrass and extort from innocent citizens. Therein lies the difference.

They should give them two options: Lagos or Sambisa.

Abeg shut the eff up. Hardened criminals like ordinary young men (alleged yahoo boys) driving around the city or minding their own business? If SARS had been fighting ONLY Hardened criminals (armed robbers and kidnappers ONLY), would anybody have complained about their activities?

I disagree with you, not accepted they should wear normal police uniform that uniform of theirs drives fear through the spine of every successful younger man who goes out dressed well on a big car.

this FSARS are hopeless and useless...
so they all fear death, yet they kill people like chicken...
are they in anyway better than our Nigerian soldiers fighting off boko Haram in the north Are they exposed to the risk that those soldiers are exposed to yet the soldiers wear their uniforms into danger zones and defend the country cos that is what they were employed to do....
I thought they are strong men they should face the criminals squarely abi is that not what dey are paid to do
if it is to arrest innocent citizens, punish, accuse and extort money from them they will do it perfectly yet they can't face their real work...
if I am the general, I will sack all those people that wrote a transfer letter and get new people to replace them....
please if they can't abide by the new rules, they should simply be sacked and replaced....
I have no pity for them cos they don't have pity on people too...
Bleep all them chicken livered SARS....

WEED OUT PERSONS WHO HAS TURNED BOKO HARAM AND IDP CAMPS TO ATM MACHINES. TO STOP THE LIES OF THE INFORMATION MINISTER. AS FOR THOES DISGRONTLE SARS CAN HUG THE TRANSFORMER.

He's trying to tell you Jonathan was a weak, daft incompetent buffoon unlike our dear magical Osinbaba (who, by God's grace, will be ruling from 2023 - 2031)!
He's also trying to tell you that in just one week, Osinbaba has done way more than the daft drunk from Otuoke did in 6 years, which is why you & the other IPIGs here must strive to never let the satanic & demonic PDP return to destroy this country again, & give Osinbaba the chance to rule from 2023 - 2031 since Buhari will still be running in 2019!

You get his point now?

Nop!

Its just that they have committed so much atrocities in Lagos.
Re: Angry 120 SARS Operatives Prepare To Leave Lagos Command by Nobody: 8:09am On Aug 18, 2018
This headline is misleading, they are not leaving Lagos command, according to this;

Not less than 120 operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Ikeja, Lagos State Police Command, have applied to be transferred out of the unit

They're just transferring out of the SARS unit to another unit.

All this sensational half baked journalism sef undecided

So what were they saying again undecided

Even abroad there are special units that don’t wear uniforms. The issue isn’t about their uniforms bt obviously during a reform process this cud be applied as a temporary measure probably their no uniform code has made them 4get they are still policemen that shud respect the rights of others. Yes they shud look for criminals bt do so without embarrassing innocent people.

They all scared of the atrocities they have committed.

These days have you noticed that police men now wear jackets over their uniforms to cover their names and force numbers.
