Chino doesn’t want this thread to succeed. He really wants it to die. My question is why does he want it not to succeed? Why does he hate this thread. What are his motivations to kill it? The answer to this critical question will reveal everything I need to know about chino..

A lot of people who should be paying taxes are not.

Part of this problem was from the total collapse of good governance in Anambra state a few years ago. Today, we have good governance, so people should begin paying their taxes to support government.

Other SE states know how to haggle businesses to pay their taxes and block leakages of the money into private pockets of the tax collecting officials. They have perfected the use of banks to collect taxes.

Enugu and Ebony are doing wonderful work in this respect. They have perfected the art of collecting taxes and even automated everything in a registry

Anambra has gradually been implementing this system of POS to collect taxes which will help it collect taxes and block massive leakages into the pockets of the tax collecting officials. Anambra government should also open up more areas around Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi to help those willing to come into the state to find land very quickly. For instance, Awada area of Onitsha was a bush cleared to receive Pope John Paul II in 1982. After his visit, since the area had been cleared, it was easy to convert into a housing layout. The same thing is happening now at the old Oba site of Anambra airport. You need to go there and see the types of buildings going on there despite the threat of erosion in the area.

Anambra state government needs to put access roads into "Bush" areas around Awka, Nkwelle Ezunake- Umueri-Aguleri, Oba etc to open up new areas for planned expansion of the state into a megapolis. Lack of government input in opening these places usually result in haphazard building arrangements later when people just sell land any type of way and build as they like in these areas.

One of the greatest things about Gov. Ugwuanyi is that he plans every estate before the building of structures happen. This is why Enugu will remain the best planned and most habitable SE state for a long time. Planning is the KEY to making a place good enough for foreign investors to live. I love how Obiano uses the housing estates approach, it also helps to make sure planning is incorporated into these estates . We should move away from the years of building unplanned cities that look like slums with good buildings. Let us put our good buildings in well planned estates

True words, nothing can stop the easy stroll of Igbos towards success, its in their blood and nothing can stop it.

Proudly Igbo.

Lol. You are a layman. In strict highway engineering sense a flyover is the opposite of interchange but laymen call everything flyover that's the point I was arriving at. Those you mentioned are interchanges which enugu has more than ten. Go to 9th Mile and observe the difference but if you can't i will explain later. Flyovers and interchanges are grade separated intersections.

forget that your "strict engineering sense". Hope you are not calling a culvert a bridge or flyover?
This is a flyover
