I’m inclined to believe this is true because boko haram are doing more damage than they during jonathan’s administration but no one is hearing about it and the newspaper are actually concealing these attacks!

APC is a Party full of evil. How could you be this callous. Soldiers that are risking their lives for our sake and even died in the line of duty, the least you can do for them is to honour their memory but instead of doing that, they resorted into bullying or buying the media houses, causing them to turn a blind eye.
Well their time is almost up. #Atikulated

If the media is to report every thing that BHT does, then that's all we will be reading on the FP of every media. BHT commits different atrocities that is what they are for and that is what they do.

Giving them exclusive media coverage will only encourage and enbolden them to do more as they will see themselves as celebrities. Why do you think they are always making propaganda videos. Putting their news on FP always is like giving them what they need on a platter of gold and will only encourage them to do more.

If only our politicians will see beyond partisan politics so that this menace will be stopped. It's quite saddening to hear our soldiers been killed in such numbers all the time. RIP to the fallen.

Definitely.

It's only in Nigeria that morality and the ethics of good journalism are thrown out of the window because of petty bribes.

It's just surprising that Apc pays millions to keep these fraudulent papers quiet, but they are still paying the NL BMC crew 10,500 per month, less than minimum wage.

Jubril must return to his pregnant cows in 2019. Nigerians have had enough. Almost everyone has #Atikulated.

a big shame indeed

thats blood money the media is taking to conceal this

But they were busy reporting and even exaggerating during the last admin

Any insurgency that lasts more than 48 hours has the backing of the government..The Nigerian government(nothern leaders I meant) has a hand in boko haram..it’s a business with many shareholders in both PDP and APC..
Re: Is There A Conspiracy Between APC And The media To Conceal Boko Haram Attacks? by Rindo69: 2:40pm On Nov 23, 2018
It’s not a conspiracy rather if your report it you risk being blacklisted by the repressive government. You watch tv interviews and radio programmers and you hear the presenters being very careful not to be seen as criticizing the government. If a caller does so, they cut him off. You hear presenters like the albino on channels fact-checking rather than letting the other debater to do it - Sowunmi vs Keyamo comes to mind.

Do the newspapers still have the little banner counting the days the Chiboks girl’s have been held?

Considering the number of casualties, isn't it proper for it to be adequately reported? Why has the Presidency said absolutely nothing about this? We are talking about 100 soldiers (approximately). This is a full blown war. Even if it's 50 soldiers. Or 30.

I just saw a video online how these men were massacres. The insurgents even had time to shoot at our fallen soldiers to ensure they remain dead. They even had time - and peace - to record the whole attack. They captured one of the soldiers. They took away our military hardwares. And lots more! At what scale would it be "enough" to attract the government's attention?

What is happening up there in the north? Nigerians must know. Our fallen soldiers must be honoured. The world must know. And most importantly, an appropriate force must be applied! Enough of the politics.

On one hand, the media silence stops the boko haram menace from getting any publicity and sympathy, and this allows the Nigerian Army to fizzle them out in silence.

On the other hand The media silence Deprives the citizens from knowing the true situation of the fight againt the insurgency thereby making them assume that all is well.

Its a two sided thing.
The citizens think all is well, but there are some like someone up there who said that his cousin was killed and the government has been silent about the death. How does that make him feel? Of course he and his family will not keep quiet, they will tell others.
Just this afternoon I watched a video of BH,, killing our soldiers and that indeed makes it very painful.
APC, are handling this the wrong way.
Re: Is There A Conspiracy Between APC And The media To Conceal Boko Haram Attacks? by einsteine(m): 2:48pm On Nov 23, 2018
Of course One of Jonathan's failures was the inability to control the media. APC has mastered that. If the media were to report what's truly going on in this country, we will all know just how terrible this government has been. Most of Buhari"s earliest appointments were for media positions, you think it was for nothing?
