My mind tell me its Ifyeez on d drag *Run outta trend*

Irrespective of drivers creating awareness for their respect, I feel respect should b earn and not demanded for, you can't force someone to give what they don't have. Sometimes how a trip is going to look like will tell from the phone conversation, if you are not please with the person at the other end, frustrate the trip by all means. A lady once enter my car and I know this is not just my kind of trip, I use style put car for drive, crack the engine tire, me I don't have anywhere I'm going to, when she tire, she cancel the trip. The last thing I can do is to argue with a rider or start playing defend, how I have an official job or is side hustle (My move, my business, what I have behind my door, is nobody's business).

Funny things I learn, how you arrive is the price you are worth, have a pack of juice and some goodies by the car sit side for more than a week now, barely any rider that enters and won't feel like, is this for me... Jokely nooo, myself need to refresh, from dia, we laff and trip goes on, but in my mind, drink wey don pass one week for under sun, you are so on your own if you drink em. To the drivers; trips don't last forever, just endure till you drop whatsoever beast/demon as presumed and let them go, any trips that last forever, means your last.
This is the height of stupidity, how can someone be so foolish and foolishly record this rubbish, wait wait wait this can be one of those online skit/joke, because drivers name and face was not posted.

Do you know we driver are the highest kiss ass.

We welcome you to our car

We greet you, some can't even acknowledge the greeting like,
Thank you they will keep mute even tho they heard you real good

We get insulted easily, riders are easy to say all this useless Uber driver.

Some will be so rude to you even tho deep down you know you're far beta than them.

Some will insult you for what another driver might have to them, coz in there mind we drivers are same.

Some after forming big boy and slay mama can't afford to pay complete fair, they will now calm down to tell you bros no vex.

Some even with your AC at the fullest, they will still tell you oga is this AC on self, then you ve to calmly apologize, even tho you know there's nothing wrong with ur AC.

We listen to some dry jokes even tho we might not like it, we still laugh just to make the rider comfortable and get good rating.

Some are really really nice too.

We take all sort of things coz we are not like those danfo drivers, we are learnered, and we understand serving public especially Nigerians is not easy.

I know if am not driving, 90% of them can't even look at me in the eyes, because my packaging always outshine them.

We still maintain the rating of 4.6-4.9. It's goes up and down coz you can't please everybody

My dad always said calm down you can't serve someone for ever.
So I take anything you throw at me coz I know after the trip, you're irrelevant in my life, and may not come in contact with you again, so I continue the ass licking with pride until I stop driving for the platform.

PAY ME MY MONEY THAT'S ALL I CARE ABOUT.

Err what's like an acceptable per hour charge for an offline Uber trip? Told the woman 20k for 4 hours.. Is it reasonable or am I a thief?

I watched this video on Facebook. That driver must be a member of this thread.

I mean, how can a driver have the gut to attack a rider like that? What happens to good customer service. That was terrible and I felt for the lady.

I can't imagine ordering an Uber with my hard earned money only for somebody to spoil my day like that.

The guy should be the one to greet and looking at that lady, she seems older than the driver.

And to think the driver recorded the video excluding himself and thinking that he's anonymous is ludicrous.

All Uber needs to do is to contact the rider, fish out the driver, and block his As$. What an unruly behavior.

Please, let's not take everything written here serious oo.

I've watched it since 2 weeks ago..
The uber guy is cursed from both his maternal and paternal home. No doubt about that..even the lady in the video too confirmed that.

Talking about riders with bad attitude...

Some weeks back, I picked a rider from ICM going to Dolphin Estate. I was listening and humming to one of my best tracks of Lucky Dube when the guy broke the silence with, "Do you know Morgan Freeman?"

Me: Yes I do
Rider: I saw a picture of him with earrings

I was like, so?

"Why should he?" Was his response...
Me: He's a movie star and its allowed for him to look the way he likes, what if they ain't earrings but just studs for the photoshoot?
Rider: Why?
I just ignored the question and faced my front...
After about 5mins,
Rider: What song are you listening to?
Me: Lucky Dube
Rider: Who is he?
Me: You don't know Lucky Dube?
Rider: I don't know him.
Me: Well, I can't help U here.
Rider: Tell me about him
Me: Sorry not today.
Rider: This is what I hate about Nigerians, you can't engage them in a simple conversation without them being and acting stupid. Damn.
Me: Nigerians?
Rider: Yes!
Rider: It's rude and I can report you for not responding to my conversation.
Me: (already pissed but try hard to suppress it) Guy, I decide which question(s) deserves a response.
So for you info, I don't respond to stupid conversations...
Rider: You are a fool!
We were getting close to his destination, so I just ignored him till we got there, I ended the trip and he said he wants to transfer, and I said ohk but you have to sit here till I get my alert o...he said OK.

While we were waiting for alert, I turned to him and said...I am sorry for you...look at U, bitterness written all over your miserable face...so please, get your miserable self out of my car and go drown in your misery somewhere else.
Rider: Idiot! What if I don't?
Me: I'll take you to the nearest police station and I'll make sure you pay me for time wasted.
He just hissed and got out reluctantly...
I reported him and gave him 1star.
I'm still waiting for taxify to call me and tell me rubbish...maybe nah dis one I go take leave their yeye platform.

Yes this uber is not by force, then face other businesses aside uber and stop complaining about drivers. Startup a pure water company, or organize boi to dey help you sell galas for traffic .. Rather than ranting and looking for drivers to enslave.

Uber is not meant for rentals. Driver your own car yourself, Set destination and you are go to go. Must you get a driver to make money for you when u cant even afford paying drivers such amount weekly.

Don't be bias, I own a cars and have a driver also.. Both side should always ve their conditions and agree to understand themselves.

Fail businesses is what made some business owner who cant pay regular salary to venture into uber biz... You know yourselves. Lol...

With all due respect, if this is how the convo went, it's all shades of wrong. The customer is always a customer and he could have been better managed without literally shutting him down. My opinion.

This is a chat I had with one of my friends that drives on uber .. He is also the owner of the car .. He actually hit me up to talk about my posting on nairaland.. So I decided to get his own view of the uber business.. Please enjoy the screen shot chat we had yesterday... And I wish the ones that are complaining will quit. If they do quit, I think Uber might review their prices and increase their fare... this is the only it will work .
