2-The Council of State DID NOT meet. The election was postponed just 5 hours to the time it was scheduled to start. This is déjà vu. It is June 12 all over again. A dictator who DOES NOT want to go wants to cause chaos with this.


3-Who on earth postpones an election 5 hours to the election except a scared government whose time is up but DOES NOT want to go? They had 4 years to prepare for this election. They had ₦190 billion. Yet they pull this.



4-By instigating a #CoupAgainstNigeria postponement of an election 5 hours before it was scheduled to begin, the Buhari regime knew it was going to lose and want to frustrate you the people and cause very low voter turnout


5-Refuse to play into their hands. Be CALM, PEACEFUL and UNDETERRED. Keep passion until February the 23rd. Then troop out to repay them for their #CoupAgainstNigeria with your vote.



6-This postponement was PLANNED. That‘s why Buhari gave CNN an interview and boasted “NOBODY WILL UNSEAT ME”. Is PMB right? So Nigerians can’t unseat PMB?



7-Remember, elections can only be rigged effectively when the voter turnout is low. That is what their #CoupAgainstNigeria is meant to achieve. But we must troop out in large numbers until the Buhari government we see today, we see no more after May 29, 2019

What about this? In 2011, voting had actually started in some parts of the country when INEC announced that the election had been moved by two days!

The national assembly elections were scheduled for April 2, 2011 and had commenced smoothly in states such as Lagos, Kaduna, Kebbi, Delta, Zamfara and Enugu when Attahiru Jega, a professor and INEC chairman, announced the postponement. Reason: late deployment of electoral materials.

Four years later, Jega would move the elections again, this time by six weeks following pressure from the security chiefs who said they needed time to “diminish Boko Haram”.

I appeal to all Nigerians for their understanding in this difficult situation. We as a Commission appreciate the profound sacrifice that you have all made not just in turning out today, but also throughout this election season. We are greatly encouraged by you and our appeal is that you remain steadfast in this last lap of this electoral process in the interest of all Nigerians and in the cause of democracy.
