37,000 Naira is too low sef for a graduate considering all the stress that was involved in getting an education. The company should be sanctioned by the appropriate authority for this modern day slavery. It is so unfortunate that NLC don't know their duties again.
sad
Running a business in Nigeria isn't easy as it seems. Getting business is another story altogether. Sometimes, I don't totally fault employers though some can be stingy while some are struggling to break even.

When chukwudi is making 1 million daily at his shop in ladipo... And you dare call him an illiterate...

The truth is Nigerian don't study to gain knowledge and contribute to the future of the nation.... Rather we go to school to get a high paying job and then become rich and in turn oppress anyone that we can....

I guess the owner of the consoll company has reached the stage of rich so they can oppress with wreckless abandon

What about Management Alternatives Limited(outsourcing company) and Setbiz Datalinks Concept Limited hired over 19 staff in 2018 but didn't pay them for two and half months.

There would have been nothing wrong if the salary was much since the headset will be used only by that agent and can be taken away when the agent leaves.
I don't think it's hygienic for agents to be sharing headsets.
That was not the initial agreement. The agreement was to pay them their money after the completion of their training. It's pure wickedness irrespective of the way you choose to disect it.

You don't understand what's going on here...you need to know how we studied and read for tests (about 10 in total) to pass to the final stage only for them to bring a policy that we have to buy headset(#27,000) from our training fee (#30,000), what they didn't tell us since we started the training 6weeks ago...this case is like asking a newly recruited teacher to buy board & marker to teach her students in school. We even lobbied that they could deduct the money from our next salary onward but hell No, what they want is our training fee...could you imagine that the MD even addressed us as DISGRUNTLED GRADUATES

That's the wrong bro, can the employers condone such if same was done to their kids, its unfair and outrightly unjust, the same headest they will use to work for the company whereby month ending, it will be the part of costs they will collect back from airtel and other outsourcers

Yes, it is not hygienic, yet, they said we can sell it back to the company when we resign, so that, they can sell it to their new recruiters after we leave, as UK used...the summary of this story is that, they don't want to pay our training fee...you need to see how we read day & night for us to pass all their tests about 10 in total

Thank you jare, abi a bottling company asking you to buy them crates to pack bottles for their company...it's just wickedness. To add to it, if you see the way the security men ransacked us while leaving on the last day we showed our grievances, as if we are common thieves

you don't see the bigger picture, if you don't take risks you would never reach your desired destination. We run a capitalist economy and employers can never be fair to the workers. Your aim is to do whatever you can despite the challenges to reach to the top.

see my brother is the job in Airtel guaranteed that should be your concern not what you are asked to pay. Only Airtel call center agent in your CV would do wonders. I have even myself faced worse but what I look at is the destination.

Imagine forcing someone to buy an earpiece almost worth his first month salary to work for your firm.

ok all na risks with wicked ceos you pay with your emotional wellbeing while with bokoharam you pay with your life.
