@AsiwajuNdigbo

You don't like 'Afonjas' at all yet, you adopted Afonja's name as your moniker. That aside, nobody is begging you to like or not like us. The truth is we don't care. We don't even recognise your existence to start with. We are like a magnet - everyone wants to get drawn to us. It is you and your like that besieges Afonja's territories. We don't go out of our way to settle outside our territories like scavengers unless it is absolutely necessary, reason being we are contented with what we have, either poor or good.

The earlier you stopped agonising about our issue the better for your lifeline and health, else you die of heartache. Both Ambode and Sanwo-Olu are Yoruba. I wonder what stake you have in our political equation that causes you sleepless nights. Go and answer your father's name and stop hyperventilating over what is of no concern to your wellbeing!

Ambode, you have tried but you are still a baby in Politics
It doesn't matter and his life or career doesn't end there ..... Buhari or international community even Multinational agencies love this kinda person ..... The problem with Nigeria is politics. politics and politics .....

when do Politics stop and Governance Begin

Not everyone is a politician like Saraki and Tinubu , some are just administrators .......

Tinubu knows Buhari is Bad Choice ..... He supported him anyway so as him Tinubu to also consolidate his reach and power (Osinbajo and others) ..... that is politics .....Now, what do we people has to gain !!!

If Tinubu could grasp Abuja the way He grasped Lagos, Buhari will never be first 1000 for consideration as President .....

Ambode has done what he thought was right and that is all ...... He even conceded defeat ....!!! ..... He will be rewarded !!

Different stroke for different people, in my opinion, Politicians in Nigeria are after the money, no politician is really bothered about relevancy or reputation, it is all about the money, because politics is the easiest way to become a billionaire over night in Nigeria, as long as you play your card very well as a politician in Nigeria, pretend to fight for the masses, get a good PR team to launder your terrible image, promise the hungry masses Eldorado, you will remain relevant and continue to loot forever, even your area father called Charly boy, demonstrated in the day and dines with the devil in the night by collecting 9figures, Abiola would have also stolen his own share, trust Nigeria politicians at your own peril, they are bunch of jokers, thieves, crooks, gangstas and rogues grin

Speaking on the factors responsible for Ambode’s rejection, Joe Igbokwe, the publicity secretary of the APC in Lagos said, “Nobody is disputing the fact that Ambode has performed, but I think in the human angle of it, he failed in some areas.

Human angle in this context means sending more bullion vans to offload money in a particular house at Bourdillion street grin

Ambode failed in his responsibility, he abandoned all uncompleted he inherited from his predecessor. He stopped rehabilitation and refurbishment of public schools in the state, he stopped the distribution of big notes and textbooks to pupils in public schools in the state. He distorted 4th mainland bridge design which is the only tangible project for Ikorodu division of the state in to favour Epe Hus acclaimed division of the state.

Please stop hyping Ambode, he can not get Lagos State slot for Ministerial appointment. Buhari shouldn't try it

That is the problem. You stay on the island, in Epe and you judge from there that Ambode performed until you take a trip to Alimosho, Agege, FESTAC, Iyana Iba and you see hell.

Mind you, Alimisho and Agege are huge voting blocks. First of, while the bridge at Abule Egba was lovely, how do you explain Ambode's building a BRT lane in the middle of Lagos-Abeokuta expressway and at the same time building a bridge in Agege? While these are projects that are needed, they are also roads that take people to work and back home daily

These roads serve as main and alternative roads hence fixing them at the same time only means people will get home at 10:30 etc. The normal thing a government with human side will do is to do remedial job on one, concentrate on the second and when that is done, start main work on the second.

Akowonjo road is a mess, Shasha is a mess. The inner roads in Iyana Ipaja……

Ambode has for some reason abandoned the Badagry expressway. Why? No one knows. Putting those people through mad torture daily yet he shows pictures of Epe expressway which started after Badagry road.

The Ambode government is also seen as weak and ineffective hence why motorcycles are back on the roads

Lets move to waste. Lagos stinks. His cancellation of the PSP was crap and pointless. This was a system that works and employed almlost 25,000 people including street sweepers and suddenly, the governor cancelled it. If it was cancelled for one that worked it would have made sense but no. Cleaner Lagos was an ill-thought idea that is on its own, ground for impeachment.

Housing. I know about 3 housing projects that were finished by the Fashola administration in Ikorodu, Alimosho, Iyana Iba, Jakande Estate etc. These houses have begun completed and all that is needed is ballot and allocation but Governor Ambode left the houses and put them under lock for no reason. Another valid ground for impeachment.

It is these things people complain about but to those who dont observe, they think it is because of bribes or party funding. You ended the jobs of 25,000 people working under the PSP program and assumed there wont be consequencies.

Look at the monstrusity being built at Oshodi. That project depresses me……the funds sunk there can be used to build jetties and buy ferries to take people from Badagry, Ikorodu and Iyana Iba to the island daily thereby easing the traffic. But this is Governor Ambode. He believes in "Go big or go home"

Anybody that is close to governance in Lagos will know that Ambode is failure.

Moreover the writer should specify Ambode achievements in education, health, laspark, environment, etc

l foresaw his failure at the 2nd year of his administration when sycophants were saying he has performed more than 8years of fashola in 2years and he also was dancing to it

At the 6th month of his tenure, a staff of governor's office said with the way and style of his governance, he will not secure 2nd term.

Anyway, l wish him well, but l hope he has learnt his lessons.

May be you have forgotten the construction of 114 roads across 20 local government and 37 council development areas in the state which was commissioned in 2016. Also a new bridge constructed at Abule Egba and so on......Ambode is one of the best Governor that has performed wonderfully well.

May God bless you soul man! You spoke my mind verbatim. The praise singers of Ambode don't know that people thank God everyday they go out and come back safely in many parts of lagos which reeks of waste and bad pothole filled roads. It's an eyesore to behold that Lawma which was working fine to clean the highways effectively with many of their old female cleaners sweeping the roads like their own compounds was suddenly deserted, abandoned and left for a non-functional company called visionscape, a recycling company at best. Thanks for stating it as it sees. Life doesn't start and end at epe.
