Good evening Mr Gazzuz, please my camry 2.4 is seriously chopping fuel I noticed since I got it 2 months ago. I've scanned, and changed O2 sensor but no improvement. My mechanic had checked every possible cause and later resolved that it cause of missing catalyst. I'm currently considering enaging a panel beater to manually work something as catalyst but I need your help on what to do? I don spend money finiah untop fuel. Please save my life

It's all an advertising gimmick to make vehicle look maintenence free. 50,000 miles and transmission oil would already be looking brown.
OK thanks, would def add transmission fluid change to my next maintenance schedule.

Hello Sir, i have read of comments but not satisfied with an answer. I'm having a P0420 catalytic issue in a Toyota Corolla 2003. I'm seeking advice, is an affordable 20k worked catalyst a good option other than the 65k follow come. My panel beater says they would do the same work. Would fixing it also help improve my fuel efficiency cos I'm not enjoying the Corolla Fu efficiency effect.

Help!! My Nissan pathfinder Brake lights refused to turn off after parking it tonight, I had to remove one of the battery terminals so that the battery won't be drained!! What is the cause and what can I do.

place your back on the drivers side foot mat and look up, you will notice the rubber stub on the brake switch is out completely. Cut rubber slippers with super glue and cover the hole, you will be fine.

If 4cylinder, it has a sensitive gearbox, be careful with its maintenance if you decide to go ahead

The VDC Compressors in most corrolas die out at around 120-150,000miles. In the S.A models it is worse, they seldom get to 100,000km before packing up. Now it varies based on where vehicle was used, if vehicle was used in Canada, you have a longer compressor life span as it was hardly ever used, but if your corrola was used in texas, it's like car was used in maiduguri (dem don flog the a/c wella) the issues surrounding a/c fixing in nigeria is the cost of brand new parts. buying a used compressor is a game of luck, also if there are still metal fragments in the system from the old compressor or a degrading suction or discharge hose, you will go back to square 1 in less than one week. The total cost of brand new parts are usually in the 350,000-450,000 for most toyota (compressor, condenser, pipes, expansion valve, evaporator, refrigerant and lubrication.) Sadly it's not favorable to the pocket of the average Nigerian. The closest option is to intall a manual compressor. The manual Compressors are very durable and can tolerate abuse (dirty systems, systems not vacuumed, failing fans etc) installing a compressor that sits properly is key so you don't have failing serpentine belts all the time. With time and over 20units I have realised the hilux compressor from the 2TR engine is a very good match for the 2/1ZR engine in the corrola I have some running up to 3years without issues. Cost of conversion is about ~N120,000

Try to record the "crack sound" you hear and send to him on Whatsapp. Suspension noises are quite difficult to diagnose without physical checks.

defective engine, defective airconditioning.

Repairs and replacement of those 2 components if done well will cost ~850-900k
