States need expand water utilities to cover the whole state. Currently there's no Local government that's 100% by water board. Its weird how they cry about getting more power yet ignore areas where they seem to full control. NOIpolls say only 17% of respondents said they get water from public source. 3% of that total get it from public tap. 1 Like 1 Share |

Every Nigerian is his/her own government We dig boreholes to get water We buy generators and fuel them to get electricity We provide our own security for ourselves The transport fare from Nigeria to Hell fire is #50. Tufiakwa 11 Likes |

"The state government spends N994 million per annum to treat and discharge water to Gombe metropolis, but majority of the populace are not paying their water bills," a source said. If they dont pay cut off their service. What's your other option other than to bleed money. 1 Like |

The biggest failure of the Nigerian Government over the years is provision of portable water, there is no phrase as such as "water shortage" in Nigeria. There is no pipe borne water anywhere in Nigeria, we all depend on privately owned bore holes for water in most parts of the country.. 3 Likes |

Buzoman: Abi...instead of dying without a cause, why not die as heroes and heroines...those who are tired of this world and are contemplating suicide should form a forum and lead a revolt against status-quo; we will march behind them to free our land...afterall, not all men are born to lead a battle from d front, some are born to lead it from behind and sometimes from d middle. |

From Awka to Onitsha, Abakiliki to Afikpo, Owerri to Orlu, Umuahia to Aba, Enugu to Nsukka. No water scarcity. It is not govt , it is individual effort. It is the beauty of ndigbo. Igbo Amaka again and again. We are too much. |

Nigeria is my home, and I am willing to do anything to make it a better place for my children n generations unborn. Though d political class have always found ways of dividing (thru buying some pple) us at crucial moments like this, but some of us still get conscience, u know. |
