Do we need more of Adverts to be better country or we need more of actions?

Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment (FMITI) took to the social media to show reforms on GEM projects, yet they have hundreds of business to attend to on #GEM grant after signing agreements. Grantees are being frustrated! No communication on how and when payments (even first tranche) is to be made.

@FMITI Reforms what is happening to billions of grant money yet to be paid to grantees who have signed agreements Kindly do your work diligently and have it speak for you not advertise!!!

Grantees have visited their offices so many times yet no reasonable information as when payments will be made.

Let's all come out on May 8th 2019 to ask them the reasons for the delay. Grantees are coming from different part of the nation to Abuja come Wednesday.

So many businesses as the edge of collapse due to this delay.. We can't fold our arms and watch our labour go down the pit.

The biggest undoing of this thread has always been 90% of members choosing to keep quiet, only coming to the page to read comments as others discus matters that affect them until things go horribly wrong.
Be peaceful and courteous in your approach and just take it that you're very few in the struggle. I wish you the very best once again.

It has been concluded that if we don't get up to a 100 grantees, the Monday protest will be cancelled.

According to data released by GEM, we are 590 grantees awaiting disbursement.. Please let's all come out or forfeit this money

Currently, we have less than 20

Where are the rest 570 grantees? Are they ghost grantees or they don't need this fund

14 grantees was said to have issues with their account number, thereby they won't receive the grant. In case you didn't get the 60 days mail on March 29th, it will be better you find your way to Abuja on Wednesday

It was been said that the 60 days mail was sent in error by an overzealous PwC staff. The mail was sent from PwC and on visiting PwC, they said their contract with GEM is over as their job is only to select credible and suitable grantees.

Its left for FMITI to disbursed but those to sign are not doing there responsibility. If you counting the days, you know we already in 30+ days and no batch has been paid (it was said that payment is in batches)

This government will be dissolved come May 2019 and if we don't get paid before then, we will have to wait for Mr President to appoint new cabinet and till those one settle in.

There has been many developments in short...
