Right now, I'm starting life afresh again...its painful seeing wasted years, and reality is hitting hard....I know with another dose of patience for a couple of years I will chart another path for my life. This time...I will never listen to any advice coming from my parents again.. cos its only bad and traumatising and memories of bully I have about my childhood and growing up.

Same here bro. I almost attempted suicide few days back. It's the fear of hell that stopped me (it's what's still stopping me). I am in my final year for a five-year course and after everything, I've decided to drop out and hustle.

The fear of hell is one thing that has prevented me from committing that dreadful act as well. Sometimes, doubts about its existence spring up in my mind, but I can't take that risk. It would be disastrous leaving this world only to discover that the much talked about hell actually exists and everything that the bible says is true. It would be a double loss for me.

Sometimes, I wonder why skeptics are afraid to die. They may want to deny it, but I know it's a fact, at least a higher percentage of them. I think it's a result of an indwelling dread for eternity, that they are not really conscious of. That could be the basic reason why humans are afraid of death, not just because of our departures from this world.

I'm just searching for the easiest way to exist this planet.

You'd never understand through reading and thinking but through experience.
I have personally seen the raw power of the name of Jesus Christ and what it does. I am not talking about attributing happenings to his name but physical effects of prayer.
Some years ago, I and and my friend attended a Catholic Charismatic Renewal teens program. I was 18 then. For those who know, the Charismatic are a sect that violently pray and call upon the name of God. We sat together.
Time for prayer came and they started praying. All of a sudden this guy just became very quiet I got curious and asked him why he stopped praying but the guy just ignored me and by this time, his eyes had a hazy feel to them.
The next thing 'he' did was 'he' attempted to run out. I say 'he' because it was no longer my friend acting. He was held back and that was when the 'thing' in him started manifesting. I audibly heard this guy shout and speak in voices so unnatural. I wondered if this was my friend and indeed it was not him but rather a demon.
After so much prayers he was finally okay again.

In the same gathering I had an experience too, while praying all of a sudden I couldn't open my mouth to pray again. An intercessor approached me and asked why I wasn't praying again. My brother, I tried to but couldn't open my mouth, I felt such an overpowering presence around me that I almost became unconscious. The intercessor then touched my forehead and immediately I felt this very hot sensation running through me, it was ecstatic. After then, nobody matched me in prayer that day again.

These are not all, there are other experiences too. Christ is Lord and he is actively involved in the lives of those who truly follow him. I just shake my head and laugh when all these people here ignorantly deny Christ and utter all kind of derogatory statements in reference to religion.
My religion is Christ and I have seen him work in mysterious ways. That whybi believe in him.
