He now says he really wants to see her outside the house. So that's why he doesn't want to be partners, because he doesn't want the partnership to spoil something they can have outside. He says he doesn't mix business and pleasure together.
And he's serious about her. embarassed

Kim tells him that the partnership won't disturb him and mercy,
Ike feels it will disturb because if he gets angry about the partnership he doesn't want to be angry with someone he wants to have something with outside the house. He doesn't want to spoil anything.
