This is where we find ourselves as a nation. Just imagine for some set of people to remain in power without considering their own children one day will pay for this... I wish them safe returns

Question though. When the next election comes, will you still hope it will be free and fair?

The fact that it’s an EVEN number makes it sound Fishy. How Can a random selection arrive at an even number. Was it planned?? An unusual occurrence like this shouldn’t be so perfect. Why not 27, why not 33. 30 gone missing and it’s like a planned stuff.

Despite that, and many other brigandage, kiilings of innocent voters, flagrant abuse of power, and assault on our Constitution and all known provisions of electoral act, total disregard to the sanctity of human that took place in kogi and bayelsa in the name of election in the full glare of security agencies,,INEC will still go ahead to announce the winner.its very unfortunate.

Voting in that LGA should be cancelled and rescheduled for another date with the full presence of the military and police in their numbers.
Same high level irregularities that made two out of thirty five have their own elections at a different time from their peers.

Dr. Gabriel Oyibode Congratulates DSP Ovie Omo-Agege On His Victory At Appeal Court

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former Delta North Senatorial Aspirant under the platform of All Progressive Congresses (APC), Chief Dr. Gabriel Chukwuma Etaoghenevwegba Oyibode (JP) has congratulated the Deputy Senate President, His Excellency Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege on his victory at the appeal court.

Oyibode in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Itodje Okiemute Godstime, on Friday in Abuja, also congratulated the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the victory.

The appeal court sitting in Benin city, upheld the victory of the Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege against the petition filed by Evelyn Oboro of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for lack of merit.

A unanimous judgement by the three-man panel led by Jaro Adamu set aside the claims by the petitioner and her party as it concerns Delta central senatorial district.

They said having studied very carefully the petition by the applicants against the respondent, they came to the submission that the petition lacked merit and therefore set aside.

Oyibode commended the Nigerian Judiciary, especially the three-man pane led by Jaro Adamu for doing its job without fear or favour. He also used the medium to congratulate members of the APC family nationwide and especially Delta Central Senatorial District on the victory.

“I am delighted to congratulate the Deputy Senate President on his victory at the Appeal Court. “May I also commend the Nigerian Judiciary for living up to expectations by doing the right thing.

Where are the securities attached to each unit?? If this information is true then the CP of kogi STATE should be held accountable. INEC Head has display his incompentance for the world that he is unfit to head the commission shnce he cannot hold election on two state peacefully. NYSC men and women are people's children - not to be wasted as chicken for an election mare with violence. GOD PROTECT WHEREVER THEY KEPT THEM.

They are somewhere thumb printing
for Bello.

They will reappear when the deal is done

Buhari is Nigeria's worst president

If we don't introduce e-voting and get Buhari to sign electoral act, plus restructure the country or even form a regional government we are not ready yet, he rigged himself back since but refused to sign the reformed electoral act, that's why Saraki is better than this useless rubber stamp SP

I doubt if anything like failure exist here. Even if Jesus govern anywhere in the world. We still term his tenure failure. But case isn't Jonathan leaving. Its a case of seeing fire and we still jumpimg from fry pan to fire. Moving on is certain but this government keep shading and reminding us that past can never be neglect if we learn the lesson and I believe you will understand better if your elder or younger brother was among the missing inec

Problem is our politicians and political parties. US, UK, EU still use manual voting apart from absentee ballot. E-voting will fail woefully

Apart fron June 12, elections have always been war, even from the first republic. You may be too young to know the facts. Read the history
