If Onyema can be indicted for Fraud, it means our entire business community is a FRAUD. This is so terrible. I give up on Nigeria because 85% of it's people are no longer interested in the things that really matter in life , such as integrity, hardwork, contentment, love, family and justice. Everybody wants to be rich quick. Greed will totally destroy Nigeria if people do not wake up and change their bad habits. Don't blame this plague on Buhari. FRAUD and GREED areterrible diseases in the heart of most Nigerians. GREED GREED GREED and POMPOSITY with STOLEN & FRAUDULENT MONEY. I just bloody GIVE UP !!!!!!!! 5 Likes 1 Share |

A man with no history of a successful business anywhere just appears in Lagos airport with 4 Boeing 737 Aircraft and grows the fleet to fourteen in less than 24 months and Nigerians don't ask a single question but just quickly label him a business magnet ... The truth is that in our inner selves we all knew his wealth was being political corruption but all chose to pretend it was not ..The joke is on NIGERIANS . 19 Likes 2 Shares |

It seems all wealthy Nigerian millionaires and billonaires like Allen, Tinubu, kashamu, Dangote have been involved in one dirty deal or the other. Is there hope for some of us who have sworn to do business without soiling our hands? Hope dey so? |

I thought about the whole situation in Nigeria. I tried to narrow down a wholesome solution. To get it right we need to have the following in place. 1. Zero corruption tolerance; (If we get this right, we lay a foundation for recovery) Life imprisonment for offence involving 20M and above 14 years improsonment for offence involving 10M to 20M 7 years for 1M to 10M 3 years for 200,000 to 1M 5 months + Community service for N1 to 200,000 2. Ban pornography; (Sex is the greatest item derailing the youth) Ban on pornography (on websites and offline devices. If caught, 7 years jail term) Ban on underage sex. (Individuals below 18 caught having sex will be sent to remand homes) Adults who engage in sex with underaged individuals will be liable to 14 years in jail. 3. Emphasis on agriculture, economic diversification, power and infrastructure. Meaning the government spending will be largely focused on these aspects of the economy. Investors in these aspects will enjoy benefits from the government. Farmers for example will enjoy a lot of benefit. Projection This is a 12 years goal. By the end of the twelfth year, Nigeria will be an emerging country with a great potential and we will have laid a solid foundation for further development. cc Safarigirl. Predictably, this thread has taken the direction of tribalistic slurs and insults. Thus reinforcing the concerns of the OP. I wonder how a country can move forward when people are still evaluating one another through religious and tribalistic lenses. Screwed up mentality I tell ya. |
