The truth is Nobody is forcing anyone to be Igbo. When all these groups start crying that they are not Igbo, it is because their own members are claiming Ibo ,not the Ibo claiming them. I was trying to tell you that the igbiod groups in Rivers might be the majority if they unit for political reasons,
but they are not united, the ikwerre igbo do things separately from the epkeye igbo ,as long as politics is concerned every tribe or ethnic group in Rivers state fight for the position of governer, the majority are the ogonis, kerebari and the ikwerre Igbo , epkeye Igbo don't unit with the ikwerres , the ekpeye Igbo has been complaining of marginalizion since after the civil war,

I am from Kalabari, not kerebari as u spell it.
Rivers politics is not about tribe, when Odili wanted to become the gov, Awuse was his rival but days to election, Awuse was killed, other tribes did not take it to heart and still voted Odili, infact in the last elections, Lulu Briggs son contested with Wike but Kalabari people voted massively for Wike instead of their brother. Rivers State do not play tribal politics, They are genuine, transparent and accommodating.
There is a lot of tribe here in Rivers but you will never hear tribal conflict just like we have in Nigeria where three tribes can't even dine together because of hatred, SS is the only geopolitical zone that doesn't really care about who rules and who doesn't( I stand to be corrected), that should tell you how they are, the people don't get angry when a Governor emerges from other tribe, that is why you see the governor working tiredlessly for the whole state because we see ourselves as one irrespective of tribe.
In conclusion, Wike was not talking about Rivers politics because the state is not at war.
