Uche and his people are mad, came out this evening got request Lekki to thomas estate on 1.7 surge with waiting time.
End trip and saw #900, just because the person put Lekki as destination even after telling him to update destination.
I didn't even bother to review because if I review they won't even adjust it, I simply choose the trip did not happen option our people say two people cannot loose in a business deal and drove straight home to rest nonsense.
Tomorrow is another day.
One trick riders use to cheat the system. I’ve encountered it in Uber before some 3months ago. Picked up rider from MTN office at falomo, destination was ikoyi, immediately I started trip rider says she is changing her mind so we headed off Bank Anthony way, Ikeja. GPS malfunction couple with a serious traffic on that day, I’d to go turn at mile 12 b4 I cud get to her destination. Trip ended in card payment 4500+. Rider smiled and left. COB I’d fare adjusted to 1900+. Vex won finish me. I reason d matter all tru d next day.
Two days after I went back and reported the trip after finding out the trick. Uber readjusted my fare back to 3500+.

It’s good to confirm destination immediately after starting trip to rider and if it’s not the same tell them to update destination else end trip immediately.

But if it’s bolt and a cash trip just be ready to forfeit the money because no rider would want to pay the base or waiting charge.

I agree with dru23 on this.. I have been using Mobil extended in my car.. its expensive but the best. Maybe cos it's my car and I can afford to use it. Sometimes I start my car I wont even hear any sound until I touch the bonnet that's when you know the car is on.

Drivers if you can afford it go for it and peace of mind. I'm not saying the other is bad, but it means you will be servicing the car every 3000km do the maths.

Merry xmas!

Abeg Bosses in the house, help my situation. So I was at a traffic light today on my way to pick up a rider. Car (Corolla) suddenly started jerking and it went off. I thought it was a joke. Started it and it jerked again but this time, the car was just vibrating acting like it was about going off if I didn't accelerate. I quickly went to the mechanic. He said he suspected the plug. I changed the four plugs. Bought injector cleaner (or something). But the issue still persists. I noticed that the RPM is now below 1000 when idling on DRIVE. Please has anyone experienced anything like this?? How did you fix it??

Boss that is your fuel pump, jejely replace it and make sure you service the injector body and throttle body. B-AUTOMOBILE

My brother just forget bolt, Uber still get small fear of God.
Once it happens like that just forget it, especially cash trip.
I even told the guy to update the destination, the other time I was suppose to take somebody from Allen to VI on Monday but the traffic was much for one hour we were still in Ikeja and the person she was going to see told her she could no longer wait.
I manage turn return the lady to her house end trip saw 2900 me sef shock, that means they were assuming I completed the trip, I simply told the girl I will review.
Did review we wait tire she couldn't wait again she paid 2k and enter house, up till now they are yet to do something about it.
Only for me to check yesterday and saw zero naira, I just say better for them.

Thanks for this bro. I have made it a rule now. No stop over again. I pick you at point A and drop you at B. If you try to stop over, we end the trip. Book another there. I cannot be working for Bolt foc. If I stop over, who will pay for the base trip or waiting time? All dem women who wanna turn us to their personal driver by asking us to take to different places just on one trip had better change now. Else, Na to end trip immefiat9you ask me to stop u wan do something. Funny thing is that these people won't even allow you to wait for just 1 min to attend to your car.
All drivers need to understand this.

My grouse with uber is their fraudulent removal of promotions from driver's account ; claiming your account was flagged for fraudulent use.
For three days I have been mailing them to tell me how I fraudulently used the uber app, they keep saying they have escalated the issue to a senior rep who handles such issues.

Is the senior rep on Xmas holidays ni undecided

I was also thinking about this but I knew it won't be possible that was why I didn't voice out. The cancellation of riders due to surge is getting much. And bolt is busy blocking drivers, make they kukuma block all Lagos Drivers naa.

Lol. Seems you don't get the picture.

Uber is making such claims to stop discontinue drivers from enjoying 3% commission.

What fraudulent act could an iOS 12.4 do ?
It's all a hoax.

How come none of them can explain what happened.

4 reps have replied several of my mails. None has a valid response. All they keep saying is "we have escalated to senior rep"

You must have been reported a couple of times by riders. It's always good when Uber readjust fares against you, always protest and bring their attention to it. When you lay back and do nothing about it, it's an admission of guilt. Some day, it may count against you and you won't know where it's coming from.

Though Uber can be very unpredictable. In this business, you live by the moment. I was flagged for cancellation at %6, checked my records and couldn't fathom where I went wrong.

The bold is true my brother
Humans are naturally callous & inconsiderate
They wouldn't give u 3 minutes to attend to something, but u wait more than 1 hour for them on a trip worth less than a thousand naira. Once a rider update destination, i don't know if it is a bug in d system or a deliberate act by bolt, the prices will drastically drop & it just seems like u are working for free. U will be surprised after the series of waiting on trip, they will still be dragging 100 naira change with u without consideration to d time u waited for them to see Mr A, buy this & that. Yesterday evening I decided to go out, even the low fare charges were shocking to riders. Bolt is making this thing becoming more of a charity work. They should cancel d change destination feature for now. Let it strictly be point A to B. Till they are able to work on it.
They are seriously cheating drivers with the change destination feature.
I cut cap for those of una making money out of this business. This biz ain't easy & worth d stress
