let the world powers ban nigerians let us all return home and build our own land.. we have engineers doctors, architecs, builders, administrators, farmers , artisans and the likes what's stops us from being self sufficient or make do with what we have and pay the price on our way to self sufficiency. if every skilled nigerian in d globe come back home we would be unstoppable as a nation. but who would bell the cat |

Any opportunity to insult Bihari, people will use it.....The chief reason they banned immigration from Nigeria is because of our huge Islamic presence foisted by the extremists/terrorists,and the fact that Nigerians who go there on temporary visas end up staying permanently in an illegal manner.the latter reason shows that we are our own problem, not buhari.or is it Buhari that overstayed his visa?.let's be rational and reasonable. And we all know trump would find any reason to stop immigration totally. How about the Nigerian fraudsters making negative names and bringing disrepute to Nigeria, blame those fuckers first.buhari ain't the problem 3 Likes |

It’s no longer news that the United States has imposed restrictions on the issuance of immigrants visa on Nigerian passport holders, together with a few other countries. The implication of this is while you can visit the U.S. for temporary stay, you can no longer obtain visas that can lead to permanent residence until the issues that led to the restriction in the first place are addressed. Whilst some persons may consider this an unfortunate development, I believe a lot of Nigerians including myself, think this is a great opportunity to have a rethink and go back to the drawing board. It’s not always about Trump. He has every right to implement policies that he thinks will be beneficial to his country! An important question at this point is ‘which Nigerians migrate’? Excluding the extremely poor, poorly educated and the vulnerable who migrate, perhaps for ‘better economic opportunities’; the average Nigerian migrants via the legal channel are the rich or at least the comfortable, well-educated whom the receiving countries would consider a great addition to their economies. This partly applies to those who join family members overseas. This, perhaps, explains why Nigeria has the most educated immigrant population in the United States. The forgoing is a reminder that whether you are a rich, comfortable, poor, educated, or non-educated Nigerian, the only place you can call home is ‘Nigeria’. Nigeria is rich and big enough for all Nigerians. Unless you have family overseas, your only business abroad should be for temporary stay. Personally, I don’t see much difference between living in some places in Abuja or Lagos and living abroad. |

xcabczyxabczzzz:Who enslaved Africans? Abi u enslaved yourself. What we are doing to ourselves presently, is it not worse than what the Europe did to us. You better stop blaming them for our own fault. Nigerians fought for independence since 1960,still we are still crawling. You blame them or u blame yourself. 1 Like 1 Share |

Only if everyone with kids there will recall their kids. Apoarently nigetian students spend 518 million dollars a year on school in america. We buy so many things at retail level when visiting thar is counted as American bought. From food to take back home clothes electronics. When nigeriand in America send money to nigeria America counts it as remittence. When a lot of it is commerce. Go on instagram Folk in new jersey will be ordering ogobono from surulere to be shipped to jersey Orders for agbalumo sef de. Cray fish yam snail all shipped from naija to u.s so all that money no be remittance Nigeriand that can afford to boycott and go to other countries should. But let us not pretend that traveling isnt importsnt to us a people. There arent a lot of out of work fun or shopping and things like that to do. We save up and enjoy our vacations so much so Americans are convinced we stole the money we saved for s year to come spend there in. |

Why must we prostrate for America, the question is are all Nigerians banned even if going there is for legitimate reason, like going to study, medical, business etc? And not the ones that go just for the sole reason of paying visit and put to birth for the purpose of the child's America citizenship. These Most time abscond when there time is due. America will not stop anybody going there with very clear reason expect from their experience now, your visit is questionable and must be properly scrutinized. God bless Nigeria. Larryfest: |
