APC has no votes, so in the eyes of the law PDP won the 8 LGAs.

They should not over rejoice ooo. Their candidate did not meet the geographical spread as ordered by the supreme court. Until INEC makes a pronouncement based on the directive of the court.

They should wait for INEC. The judgement has some forms of technicalities that can be used to overturned the latest event.

As it stand now, PDP actually won 25% in 5 LGAs, PDP loss 3 (Southern Ijaw, Nembe & Ogbia). The 2/3 of 8 is 5.33, here is where technicalities set in. The judgement wasn't reported to have cancelled APC votes nor disqualified the party like Zamfara & Rivers.

Let us wait for INEC position. When the reported INEC person was quoted to say they will determine who meets up Supreme Court judgement, many people do not understand why he made that statement. And APC National Chairman statement, they are seeing the loop holes that may make Supreme Court judgement none implementable.

Apparently, this judgement is not new. The lower court already ruled same before election but APC secured an injunction which allowed Lyon to take part in the election. Before they headed to the Supreme Court.

So SC has basically agreed with the lower court. It's only sensational now because election has been done and Lyon was initially heading to State House.
