I don't even remember having a close relative talkless of getting a gift from one. Even the ones in Nigeria I don't familiarize myself with them, not because I am not friendly but I always think that these people might be going through one challenge or another so I don't need to add my own wahala to their.

All my hopes are in God and he will send my helper to me, it can be from anywhere not necessarily a family or a relative.

There's this wonderful woman on nairaland she's based In the US this woman has affected my life positively both morally and financially, she even sent goods to me to sell without collecting a dime from me and we are not related at all. There's no day I will wake up without saying a prayer for this woman and her family although that is what I van still offer for now but I know one day I will be able to repay your good deeds

Cos the same way you are expecting a relative abroad to send you stuff, so your relatives in the village/rural areas are expectantly waiting for you to send things to them.

Above all NO MAN OWES YOU NOTHING..
People in Nigeria work hard, people abroad work hard. If Naira equals dollar or pounds, many people abroad would come back home.

in short this woman is a destiny helper its been long I bought clothes for my daughter even the food flask my daughter takes to school till now were all gifts from this woman, when my husband lost his job then my daughter was still very young and I was only teaching in a primay school this woman assisted me alot I didn't really feel the impact and I actually met her on nairaland.Good people really exist on nairaland. I know she's sowing she will definitely reap with her children they will all find favour in the sight of God and man.

I have received cash gifts and items like shoes, clothings etc from both relatives and social media friends living abroad and equally I have sent some gift items to them too....

If you don't support your aging mother and auntie financially in the mist of zero employment and high inflation Nigeria, they will have nowhere to source funds to buy your treasured crayfish, ogbono and the rest. Most Nigerians abroad own houses running in millions of Dollars upon which they pay monthly mortgage. Some build houses and rent them here and you guys will refuse to pay rent, calling them shylock.

My dad sent her to study on a long-term loan(the type Obi was given in No Longer At Ease)to be paid back 2 years after school. When she was done, there was an opening for her in a government agency. Come 9ja, she say no. She say mee pappy just dey send money. Little did we know that she was planning those arrangee wedding for green card. Na there we hear hanty reach. Until she called after about ten years that the authorities busted that first wedding she did and her hubby had divorced her. The children could stay on account of their dad(citizenship tinz)but she had to go. So through fb she contacted peeps and she was given dads contact. And so she came. On our first sunday together, we went to church and she saw I didn't have a bible and she bought me one. Abeg who need Jesus pass, me abi she? Then the husband permitted her to come see the kids and she died. Because of her, I no fit go study abroad cos she no pay and recession cripple business. Na still die she suppose die!

My uncle came back from Abroad and bought me Okirika Sweater.

I got my ford focus,clipper that I still use,dvd players,tv,cameras,phones,shoes,shirts, battery charger, German dictionary and textbooks,most art materials I used in the university was from this same uncle..some give 10k to aunty A, give 10k to cousin B,give 10k to relative C,give Ur father 10k then collect the remaining 2k.
This dude have sent more than 3cars to the entire family,have sent money and gift items to cousins and relatives yet they don't value all those..

The last time he returned we made sure he got his best holiday in Nigeria (ala Owerri),from the airport we made sure he didnt spend a kobo.already booked hotel room for him. the manchi chop point and kill fish kweta.mimi's place,Cubans and rockview hotel wr his favourite places..there was no dull moment..we bought him food stuffs, correct senator,beads, paintings and other accessories.

He loves the family and has given plenty,its payback time.. Oluwa bless us more so that we can bless others.
