I do hope it cut across every family in the church? If yes, kudos to the church for this kind gesture at this difficult time.

That's good. Others should follow. Now more than ever, the church needs to give back to its people.

There are so many members of diffrerent denominations that find it hard to survive on a normal day, this lockdown will definitely take its toll on them. The churches should show the love they preach by reaching out to these people at this point. Now is the time to give back!!!

So how will they give when no offering or tithe is being collected now?

I expect them to do more than that, just one member of the church can feed 1000 Nigerians without argument, if only to show off they can do it.
That's rich men church and I know it, they're are just sharing it among their class mtcheew

Is there anything that the church will do to please you? How many thousand people have you fed so far?

You come online with cheap data and start saying rubbish about people that are making an effort. Before you tell Buhari to change, you need to change this mentality of yours.

Some churches are still collecting, online banking has been set up to this regard. Also, what about previous offerings? No matter how little they can give, the thought also matters a lot.

Thats good.
What most churches should have done is:

1. Use the house fellowship attendance register to know how many people they have.
2. Buy at least half bag of rice, spaghetti and indomie to form a gift pack.
3. Get a few members to mass produce sanitizer, nose mask using our local Ankara material and hand wash liquid soap and add to the gift pack.
4. Package N10K minimum in an envelop for each gift pack.
5. Use house fellowship leaders to reach out to members.
6. God will see their works and bless them all in return.

Note: This is not the right time to disobey govt directives on locking down. It's also not a good time to be asking for tithe and offering especially online. People are dying of hunger and hopelessness as a result of heart break from our leaders as we speak.

Iv been doing my own bit to help others this period. Start urs today pls. Their tribe does not matter. By the way, thunder fire all our leaders....all of them. angry angry

This is the best time to give back to their members. Even though we know they can't reach the starving children in Somalia and Co nothing stop them from giving back to their congregations. Afterall the bible says sharing judgment must begin at the house of God.

Starving children in Somalia? Are they United Nations? grin

You even go too far. How many people has he given 1000 naira to make lives a little easier? People love to attack the church because it's the "reigning thing" to do. Meanwhile they have never reached out to help anyone. All they spend their money on is data
