The state should be locked down immediately with maximum enforcement. Testing should also be scaled-up to quickly identify those already infected.

Also, every state in the north west should be locked down until the virus is contained in Kano. Inter state movement of any kind should be banned immediately. The entire region is at risk until the virus is contained.
