It was previously named virology center with wards for admission of lassa fever patients.
Was established during Onyebuchi Chukwu's tenure and shares a fence with d VVF center.
Say what you know pls.
Any lab that has a PCR machine can carry out Corona screening.

Yes, but the NCDC had to upgrade and train staff for the new virus before they sanctioned it for Corona virus test just like the virology lab in university of Ibadan.

To thos people clamouring for extension of lockdown, please when the lockdown end on Saturday, dont go out, stay in your fvcking house, those of us that want to go out, will.

Ibadan has never been on lockdown since day 1, yet the case has not skyrocketed(Ibadan is the most populated after Lagos and kano), yet with all the lockdown in lagos, the cases keep increasing, u lock people for house, no food, no palliatives, no testing(just 10k test in a month) even Ghana has done better.

NCDC, is it a state or federal agency?
The laboratory facilities, were they that of the states or federal?
Lagos state was given #10b, while an agency that is at the forefront of the battle was given only #5b Does that make any sense to you?
