I bank with

UBA (very useless bank with stupid stupid customers service . I am only using the bank because most customers are used to it and I move my money immediately)

ACCESS (Thieving bank opened while looking for an alternative to UBA)

STERLING (OK and good for loan )

ECOBANK ( best for savings )

FCMB : (I opened them while looking for an alternative to UBA but they are not a serious bank )

GTB ( another thieving bank opened while looking for an alternative to UBA)

ZENITH ( I just opened this account last month and I am happy banking with them. They don't have the best customers service in the branch here but the online customers service is great. The network is good too. I use them for the bulk of my transactions now)

NB: I am still looking for another bank for a business account. I don't want to put all my eggs in zenith in case of you know

[quote author=LudaChriz post=91193290]A lot of people are used to complaining about various commercial banks in Nigeria especially the low income earners as regards the dubious charges perpetrated by these Banks.

So I want to ask, which Bank is more considerate in terms of their charges for savings account currently?

Don't forget to tell us your reasons.

Bros, what are you saying? Ecobank for online business? Ecobank that you will do transfer today that the recipient will not receive the money until three days later. I nearly craze that day after the person dey claim say im never see money after three days only for him to call me the 4th day say alert don enter. We visited the bank twice and they kept saying we should hold on. Never again! If I do business with you and the only account you have is ecobank, just forget the transfer; you will collect your money in person when we see.

Access bank is not as bad as people have painted it to be. moreover, before the incessant deduction of cash from her customers, they already made prior notice. access bank is still cool.

I would say Ecobank, I receive credit alert from them on my savings account despite the fact that I hardly ever use the account.
My most active accounts are in Access bank which I have two accounts there.
I have never ever received any credit alert from Access bank..... Only debit. I was recently debited for the stamp duty charge three times and only credited back twice. I'm still waiting for my N50 balance.
Ecobank rarely debit my account.

You are paid interest by Ecobank because you don't withdraw frequently from the account. Access bank will also pay you interest if you don't withdraw frequently.

Although firstbank paid me 4k on interest capitalized on 1.1m in 30 days. So even if they keep charging me, their interest will cover for it.
