I did that and the the money spent didn't yield expected result. I have always been a firm believer of organic sales and having an email list. For me, AMS and other paid adverts/marketing requires indepth understanding, else one will just be throwing money away. Its 20th August and my wife's new account isn't doing badly. Considering the fact that its all pure organic sales. (image attached). If i must do ams or paid advert, i am willing to learn from people with better experience and indebt knowledge of how it works and i am ready to pay for the service.

Boss, I wish I have some extra terrestrial powers to know your approach to KDP.

That amount can get you copyscape premium, which is equally good.

Copyscape allows you to buy units. So, $10 can get you $10 units equivalent which you can use for many months depending on how many searches you conduct.

The fastest way to lose money is using the suggested bid, click the suggested bid and it will show some drop down menu, click on default bid and input the amount you will like to be charge per Click many people always input 50 cent (0.50) since we are smarter than many people we will input 51 cent (0.51) as the one cent will make us the highest bidder and our book will outrank them.

This is just the basic way to run ads.

Don't think doing ads will sell your book, it just simply give you leverage over others.
doing ads will never sell your book, if it has bad cover, poor description and bad content. people will just be clicking the ads and getting back. You will lose money and still has a bad relevancy score.

A quick tip. Don't try to reinvent the wheel, look for titles already doing well and write your version, plus a proper keyword research and the result will come. Madam is happy the account is stabilizing gradually and it will soon be handed over to the owner while i focus on the other account to take it to $10,000 a month.

I use publisher rocket as well as the amazon search bar in incognito mode on Chrome browser. Title research takes time. I could search for a title for a week or two before getting a good one. So its not something you do within a few minutes or hours.

I pray a day comes when my books would give me at least 10$ a week.

Amen. But beyond prayer, work also. This business requires consistency to succeed. If a book didn't sell, move to the next and continue. If you are hardworking and committed, in 6 months, you can make up to $1k.

Am feeling so discouraged about this Kdp Publishing. I am still wondering whether those making it big are telling us the truth... I make between 10$-20$ every month for the past 3 month.. I have just 3books and this is my 5th months..
Also am beginning to believe that those gurus that says that their sales are organic sales are lying to us. How come u are making up to $1,000 to $3,000 just with organic sales.. they should tell us the truth.. I know some will come here and tell me that I should do keyword research.!!!..
My next plan is to venture into email listing and AMS.. am seeing it has if am still very young to start that.. I want to get the organic sales first before I venture into such.
