Troops on hot pursuit of the insurgents successfully recovered 3 vehicles. Two of the vehicles belonging to the Nigeria Police that were earlier carted away by the terrorists during the attack. Similarly, one BHT gun truck was also captured.

What an unfortunate comment from the army, BOKO HARAM wasted 14lives and the army is happy to announce they recovered 3 vehicles, what a shame, if I were Borno State governor, I will just engage the services of foreign machineries, from ISRAEL or other powerful nations to be by security details, after all these governors enjoyed security votes unaccounted for

That is just the problem. Had it been that the governor did not have the first hand experience that is how they will report to him that the attack is nothing and they are on top of it!
We actually need young active people in governance, like Zulum, who will not be holed up in one place and be receiving report from people to take decision.
How many times has the man in Aso Rock visited any disaster area in Nigeria? He prefers to go and celebrate independence in Mali than to go and visit explosion site in Lagos!

To win this war against Boko Haram, you have to invest in technology and intelligence. I dont understand, with all the over 1000 boko haram soldiers captured, you can't torture all of them to give up the location of Abu Shekau?

But buhari has been protecting that "legacy" before he became president and after. Wasn't it buhari who said an attack against BH is an attack against d north? Isn't buhari who advocated amnesty for BH in d mould of amnesty for Niger Delta militants? Aren't we seeing that being done already?

Stop misquoting Buhari. Buhari wasn't referring to the terrorists, but the innocent northerners being killed by the trigger-happy security agencies in the guise of fighting terrorism.

Buhari witnessed firsthand how the PDP leveled down Odi in Bayelsa, popularly known as the Odi massacre in the guise of fighting militias.

This was his fear. Buhari, being a diehard lover of the life of his people feared that the same fate suffered by the people of Odi may be afflicted on his people. And he was right. We all know how the police, soldiers, SARs, etc. behave when dealing with armless protesters.

So please, read the context of that statement and stop misquoting the president.

God bless Nigeria.

These boko haram insurgents have phones with which they get information. As part of intelligence gathering by the security forces, I will suggest that killed or captured insurgents should have their phone contacts analysed for clues as to their sponsors, informants and sympathisers.

Anyone whose phone number is found in an insurgents phone should be picked up and handled professionally and if the suspect is unable to prove his case beyond reasonable doubt SHOULD BE KILLED...

Just imagine this was an Islamic response. Imagine all these responses are all asking each and everyone of you to accepts Islam and believe in Muhammad. Who do you think is more tolerant of each other, Muslim or christian? Who is trying to christianize or islamize the other?

Acts 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
Acts 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

You are not the only religion with some instruction to do some certain things, and even if u were told to go round the whole world and preach, why don't u go to Baga presently, don't u think someone shd spread the message in that sector?

[quote author=SilverNorGold post=94357495]Boko Haram, one of the legacies of the PDP...

The enemies of Nigeria are targeting hard working APC governors, but Nigeria is winning.

With the combined efforts of President Buhari and the military, Nigeria will be great again. No matter what the Pharoah Democratic Party (PDP) and its supporters do to frustrate our exodus, they'll fail. Our journey to the promised land can never be frustrated because we are the chosen generation.

God bless President Buhari.
God bless Professor Osinbajo.
God bless Nigerians.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
