this is rubbish na
they are fast loosing focus. Armed robbers are in dat prison, rapists, paedophiles, fraudsters etc, funny enough even policemen indicted for extr judicial killings are in these prisons. This is absolutely wrong. What are they fighting for now??.
If the government deploys military because of this issue then they are not to be blamed. If I am the governor, every protester around that vicinity is going into that prison until they produce the criminals they have freed

Of a truth, Thugs and irresponsible fellows are fast taking over this protest

Planned work by the govt to bring the military in

BREAKING NEWS
Just In: 24hour curfew imposed in Edo state by the state Government following escalation of violence this morning and incidents of past days. Government warns that anyone found outside in violation of the curfew order which begins 4pm today will be dealt with. #EndSARS
Source: @seunokin

That is d game plan deployed by d govt. It began by sending thugs after protesters to intimidate them and force them off d streets since using d military & police will be unpopular. D idea was that it will be difficult to tie d thugs to govt thereby giving d govt plausible deniability. But when u see how d attacks have been similar in different locations, gives an idea of a powerful hand behind d attacks. Some protesters have died in d process.

Since d attacks have failed, they have taken an extreme move, create chaos to justify using govt force. So everything fell into place

People should see the reasons why the protest should be stopped so that the law enforcement agents will not mistake hoodlums for genuine protesters.

I stay in Benin and a police station isn't far from the prison..... If it was truly the work of the #ENDSARS protesters.... I think the police would have intervened.... And also why didn't any of the prison guards resist them??..... Abeg I smell foul play joor

The protesters have nothing to do with this. These are thugs, not protesters.

I have watched many videos of this prison break, in some cases, these protesters are thugs themselves in those areas not like d well organized protest in Lagos n Abuja.

In my hometown, Okene! We have nothing to protest about #Endsars because they dare not fall into our vicinity.

So, thugs using d opportunity to hijacked d protest, it will soon become something of valueless and more reason leaders is needed because Nigeria tins are not same wit Western world.

May our efforts never fall in vain.

I watched a video just now where protesters blocked d road n military men were passing, it was hell n brutal btw d men in uniform n d civilians. We all know it can't work this way.

Misleading headline. Where is the wall that was broken? How can the walls be broken and the prisoners are seen jumping from a very high wall?

But we are not deterred, the old crooks in power must go.

The only way they could have been resisted is by the use of force, if the warders or the security agent had fired a shot, u will still come here and say they killed protesters. Leave when the ovation is loudest, but we refused, now we are losing public sympathy

There's no reason why d protests should be stopped because d protests have been largely peaceful. It's also pertinent to note that even while protesters were being attacked& some killed by thugs, d police were standing by watching d scenes unfolding without intervening

This is a just a ploy to blackmail the peaceful protesters hence justify the deployment of soldiers as seen on the streets of Abuja now
We as Nigerian youths must change the narratives now and must away from #EndSars to #EndBadGovernance and #EndCorruption and watch how the whole of Nigeria will stand along and behind us
