All irrigation system can not be thesame,it depends on your farm size, topography, source of water e.t.c I will try to show different irrigation system with different source of water. Hmmmm this will be a long thread...

I will start with my own, though a little bit old school , I will also show new school too. If you want to install irrigation system,this should come to your mind, your water source and farm topography. After that, design how (sketch) the system will look like.this is My own sketch below

Next, make ridges and measure the length to know how many pvc pip you are buying, NOTE PVC pipe can be substitute with flat hose but am not going there now. Am using 2 inch pipe as an example, and there is two type light and strong. If you can afford strong buy it.

Buy end cap,see the function below

Buy saw should Incase you will need to cut the pipe for adjustment, also PVC gum, socket and elbow if your system require it

This is the function of socket, but you will not need it if your system is new, unless you have burst pipe. All new pipe (one side) come with socket mouth.

Function of elbow below, which also not compulsory unless your system require it.

Filter is compulsory especially if your water source is river or stream, if you don't use dirty will always clog your emitter. There is big one and small

lay the pipe,join with PVC gum, peg with Baboo pieces to brace it firm.

Below is tap, rubber washer and drip connector. Drip connector is use to join Drip should Incase there is burst or hole on it.

Any pumping machine will do.. it hose that will suffer it, you will need to buy 400 meters hose. Below pix, some are even 700 to 800 meters from water.

I have access to an overhead tank, so I think I don't need pressure pump

to my knowledge there is 3 type of flat hose; blue hose@100meters 18k, black hose@100 meters 36k and green hose 29k here in akure. At the moment am using green hose because it is thick and can also serve black hose function.
