Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh said on Sunday that a prototype version of Simorgh had successfully undergone flight tests, adding that various other tests have been carried out on the aircraft in recent months to prove its airworthiness.

Mohammadi Bakhsh said the CAA has been closely monitoring the tests and has received graphs and documents containing precise information about Simorgh’s performance.

Simorgh was unveiled in May 2022 as the first Iranian light transport aircraft. The plane is a modified version of IrAn-140, an Iranian-Ukrainian joint project which is based on Antonov An-140.

The new plane carried out its first successful flight in May 2023, nearly a year after it did a fast-taxi test, PressTV reported.

The Iranian defense ministry, which is in charge of manufacturing Simorgh, said just after the test flight that it had started the process of receiving a test certificate for the plane.

Mohammadi Bakhsh said Simorgh is quite different from IrAn-140 because its engine and fuselage have been modified.

He said that a second Simorgh aircraft is being built and technicians are attaching wings, landing gears, and engines to the plane.

The official said Iran is now in control of a home-grown plane-manufacturing industry that can join partnerships with international plane-makers.

He said that Simorgh is essentially a cargo plane but can join Iran’s fleet of short-haul regional jets in the future.

Reports in recent years have pointed to major progress in Iran’s aircraft production and maintenance sector.

That has come against the backdrop of sanctions imposed on the country by the United States as Iranian airlines have been barred from purchasing new planes.

This makes no sense. Their last video on a YouTube channel with less than 100 subscribers was in December last year. They were attempting to build a career as content creators but the passport incident was not a skit. They used cameras positioned properly for their skits but the airport video was done with a phone that kept shaking. You could also see that kids were not acting as they were clearly confused unlike on their YouTube page. How could they have carried so many luggages into the airport for a skit and used a phone to film content?
Other people in the video were also saying that the woman had been acting aggressively on the plane. She was also clearly picking a fight with a third party, presumably the person filming.
In summary, the couple were aspiring content creators but they've had a big fallout.

I believe, 💯. God can spare a multitude because of jist one man or woman.

Let me share a testimony here but before I do,.may God punish me if what I'm gonna say is a lie....cos people always think some stories are cooked up, especially the so called atheists. The event was one of those God had saved me out of by His infinite mercy.

Some years back, I dreamt I boarded a flight and in that dream it's like the plane crashed and everyone was buried in a secluded area in a thick forest, just the way they do mass burial at every plane crash spot or arcade. I saw white pegs bearing each passenger's name on top of the crash site in that lonely forest. I was to travel to Abuja a couple of days later. I woke up and began to rebuke any form of plane crash on my way in prayer. After I finished praying, I went back to sleep.

On the d-day, I travelled for business. On my way back aboard aero contractors propeller aircraft, barely 20 minutes in the air, something I had never experienced in my almost 15 years of flying happened. It wasn't galloping at all. The plane was coming down suddenly as if the engine had stopped , people shouted Jesuuuus, Muslims were shouting alahuakbarrrrr. See pandemonium. There was a military officer behind me who faced down and put his two hands in his head cos of fear. The woman beside him held the man tightly, as if the end had come. I couldn't think of anything else at that moment. Suddenly, the plane picked up again and it began to ascend into the sky. Till we got to lagos, that military man couldn't face up.

Had it not been revealed beforehand and I prayed to God about it, I'd have been long forgotten by now. God can avert a danger lying ahead, just because of one person.

Similar Story D.K Olukoya told about a Nigerian many years ago.
The man was accused of a crime he never committed and was remanded for some hours which made it impossible to board the ill-fated
plane.
When those that wrongly accused him came to apologize, the plane had crashed.
The guy was grateful to the guys who remanded him.

Spectators:
Man expresses gratitude after he was denied boarding a plane which later crashed, killing all on board (VIDEO)

A man who was denied boarding for a flight is expressing gratitude after learning the plane he was unable to catch crashed, killing all 62 people on board.

Adriano Assis, a hospital worker, recounted his experience of running late to catch Voepass Airlines flight 2283 from Cascavel to São Paulo on Friday morning. Assis said he arrived at the Cascavel Regional Airport around 9:40 am, an hour and 16 minutes before the scheduled 11:56 am departure, but found no agents at the check-in counter.

By the time Assis made it downstairs to the check-in area at around 10:30 am, a long line had formed. When he reached the counter at 10:41 am, just 15 minutes before the flight was set to board, the airline staff refused to allow him to check in, citing the 1-hour cutoff.

Assis argued with the staff, but they stood firm in their decision. Tragically, the flight Assis had hoped to make crashed shortly after takeoff, killing all 58 passengers and 4 crew members on board.

Still at the airport, Assis saw the news of the plane crash. He later returned to the check-in area to hug the staff who had denied him boarding, thanking them for saving his life.

"The staff saved my life by not letting me board that plane," Assis said. "I'm grateful they were doing their job, even if I was upset at the time."

Assis was not alone - 10 other passengers who were waiting at the wrong gate also missed the ill-fated flight. Some of them have also come forward to express their gratitude for not being allowed to board.

The ATR 72-500 turboprop plane crashed in a residential area of Vinhedo, São Paulo, shortly after departing Cascavel. Authorities confirmed there were no survivors. Brazil's President Lula da Silva expressed solidarity with the victims' families, and the state of São Paulo has declared three days of mourning.

While the cause of the crash remains under investigation, the tragic incident has left Assis and the other passengers thankful to be alive, even as they mourn those who perished.

An airplane carrying 57 passengers and four crew crashed Friday in Brazil’s Sao Paulo state, killing everyone on board, the airline said.

The aircraft, an ATR 72-500 operated by Voepass airline, was traveling from Cascavel in southern Parana state to Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos international airport when it crashed in the city of Vinhedo.

Voepass initially said the plane was carrying 58 passengers, but a statement later on the airline’s website revised the figure to 57.

Images broadcast on local media showed a large plane spinning as it plummeted almost vertically, while other footage showed a large column of smoke rising from the crash site in what appeared to be a residential area.
