I honestly don't believe that 'crashing price' instead of promo discounts will substitute for excellent service and the pride a Nigerian experiences when flying in a Nigerian airline brand. That trumps lower price that people can ditch if service is awful.

At 6:30pm, try booking for a flight in Nigeria, to travel same day. The other option is to travel by road at night and risk being kidnapped on the road.

So Nigeria was looking to set up national carrier, we all know that that the government cannot run it successfully, but they looking for a technical partner and they were successful in finding the best .

It takes years to set up an airlines, and the current administration is finishing on Monday 29 May 2023. Anyone with half a brain should understand what the minister of aviation is trying to do. It is an introduction. He wants to present it as his legacy! The sad part is that you expect people like David, Rufai and Sahara news to understand simple things like this but they are all suffering from that national scepticism, it doesn't matter the level of education or whether they are now living outside Nigeria, it is now running inside their blood.

Most world airlines do have partners and alliances. They do share their plane, offices, staff etc. I recently took Vueling to Spain, it was a British Airways ticket but part of the same IAG group.

Yes, the Nigeria Air plane that flew into Nigeria was an Ethiopian Airlines plan and you will be seeing lots of that going forward.

I have lost money to AirPeace in the past, I have been treated poorly by the same company and attempts to reach them and resolve a complaint and poor treatment were not successful. This was 2021. I have also tried to board their plane from Enugu to Abuja and certain disturbing noise from the plane, poor ventilation and attempts by their engineers to start the plane discouraged me and many other people to continue the journey. I asked for refund and this time I was made to fill some document, provide email address…part of my money was refunded after some months.

I pray for this man and his airline to be very successful but they need to show some bad eggs in the organisation the door.

Onyema and his AirPeace management should lead and be an example on how to run and manage an airline business.

If you are Igbo like many of us, you shouldn’t be myopic and bigoted when a customer complains. Not everything should be viewed from the ethnic prism like the fool that was complaining about the crew wearing isiagu.
