epainos: Of course you were going to resort to what you do best. Like I said, you're online so you can say whatever you like, afterwards you go back to your miserable life while you keep defending APC. I hope the 30K per month is worth it at the end. 1 Like |

anonymous1759: Answer my questions or get out of my mentions. Stop resorting to fallacies or emotional tantrums and actually think with your brain for once. A president expressly awards a contract this huge without any due process and you expect everyone to just shut up and not ask questions? Are you cattle or human? Are we no longer in a democracy, with the rule of law superior to everything else? Or are you confirming that Nigeria is now a banana Republic and kakistocracy run by criminals who can do whatever they like? 1 Like 1 Share |

epainos: The law is called Public Procurement Act 2007. You can research this and let me know what gave the President powers to flout this law especially given the humongous amounts involved that is expected to be funded by the country. You can also research the EIA act, you have internet and data, I cannot spoon feed you. It is obvious that no matter what, people like you will always cheer on illegality and abuse of due process because you think you're getting one over Obidients, Igbos or LP. The good thing is that bad governance and its consequences never discriminates, you will meet your comeuppance in due course. 1 Like 1 Share |

epainos: Ignoring all of your statements, my question to you is simple - why did the project not go through the bidding process via the BPE as enshrined in the laws; and why was their no Environmental Impact Assement completed before commencing the project? Or should we not ask these questions because Tinubu wants to build Nigeria? The same way he built pipelines straight from lagos state govt coffers to Bourdillon? 6 Likes |
Politics / Re: Peter Obi Replies Umahi: Your Claims Of Inciting Igbos Against FG Baseless by TheRealestGuy(m): 1:32pm On May 02 |
Umahi is a bumbling buffoon who should never be taken seriously. He enriched himself as a governor by awarding state contracts to his engineering firm, dotting Ebonyi state with white elephant projects that barely had any real impact on Ebonyians and the Human Development Indices of the state. I would sue him for libel and slander if I were PO because why single out the man out of other high profile politicians and Nigerians that have spoken up about the wild goose chase called coastal road that is enmeshed in opacity and controversy. Umahi the uncouth village boy will eventually meet his comeuppance, the same way dolts like Onu, Rochas, Amaechi and others went. 2 Likes |

Image123: We know very well that Nigerians discriminate against one another on the basis of tribe, religion, etc. It doesn't have to be every single Nigerian doing it but you will be playing the ostrich if you don't admit that we have a big problem on our hands with tribalism and religious bigotry. |

HALCYON44: What you're advocating for is ideal but won't happen. If you really want sovereignty you have to be willing to fight and die for it. The west in collaboration with the criminals calling themselves Nigerian leaders will never allow it. So yes, you either remain a slave to the fantastically corrupt elite or stand up for your right and fight if you have to. Unfortunately people like you will say a living dog is better than a dead lion, then continue to pray to God for a miracle. Nigerians are not ready. |
Romance / Re: Why I Can't Marry Below My Economic Class. by TheRealestGuy(m): 7:35am On Apr 21 |
Maysdevices: The sarcastic tone in your comment is obvious to me. Leaving aside all the yapping, It may shock you but there are many working class women who remain feminine, submissive and cooperative with their husband. Only modern black women think in extremes just like you've done here. Do not make it seem like those two are the only options because there are indeed women raised to understand and play the role of a wife to a man. We saw our grandmothers and mothers do it, and also saw how our grandfathers and fathers loved and adored them and the whole family, living a life of sacrifice for the good of everyone. Now, it is up to you to vet and date and marry worthy men. If you choose a bum you can't blame it on anyone else. Obviously this only applies to those who want to be married. You may continue to argue it online (which I will ignore) but the facts are clear. All the best to you. |
Romance / Re: Why I Can't Marry Below My Economic Class. by TheRealestGuy(m): 1:51pm On Apr 20 |
Maysdevices: Being feminine, beautiful, inspirational and family oriented is what you speak of in derogatory terms like this You say men want to lead but this is the classic lack of accountability most women exhibit. It has been proven since beginning of time that women love a man to be in charge; and so men step up to this to cater to what women want. Even you making noise here wants a man who is in charge but you can pretend all you like. And if you say you're not then you're a 0.1% minority of women who all mostly want this. You have resulted to guilt tripping and shaming tactics simply because a man set his standards. Shioor. At least the "bimbo" will take good care of the kids and inspire the man to take his family to the greatest possible height. While the "hustler" slaves away at a job or career, ends up alone and bitter, freezes her eggs at 35 and goes on the hunt for a weak idiot to have a baby and do life all alone. BTW again, it has been proven that an overwhelming majority of women prefer to be a "bimbo" and raising a family is one of the most important jobs in the world, certainly more important than a career in "marketing" or "linguistic studies". Monumental corruption! Why does Femi Gbaja's office have a budget of over 900 billion Naira? A close confidante of a drug bagman turned president suddenly has almost a trillion Naira allocated to his office. I smell excellent, presidential criminality! How do we hope to make any significant progress with such criminals at the helm of affairs? Nigeria may not survive Tinubu and his criminal gang! |

Politics / Opinion: Why President Tinubu Hasn't Approved Minimum Wage Increase Yet by TheRealestGuy(m): 2:56pm On Apr 14 |
This is a personal opinion first off. I have lived long enough as a Nigerian to understand that Nigerian politicians are a mostly a vile set of humans who can play politics with anything including terrorism and human lives. I am of the view that the simple reason why the minimum wage increase is yet to be effected is the same reason I mentioned above - politics. I think what the current administration plans to do is delay any minimum wage increases until 2026, so they can use it as leverage for the 2027 elections. We have a criminal mafia in charge now and I understand how they think. They will throw crumbs at Nigerian workers in 2026 in the name of an interim wage increase, make fake promises for when they are re-elected, and then leverage the desperation at that point. You can bookmark this post and we will review by 2026 and you will see how accurate it is. If this is not the height of evil then I don't know what is. Nigerian politicians only scheme and plot how to win elections and corner our common wealth. The welfare of the people is the least of their concern and they will use every weapon including terrorism, hunger and extreme poverty to win elections. I hope Nigerians wise up and resist this when the time comes. 1 Like |

olumike001: Suspicion or charges of commiting a crime does not and can never be the same as commiting a crime. Besides, how on earth do you think charging an employee with crimes committed by an organisation makes any sense? An employee that isn't even on the board? The joke of a country called Nigeria! 1 Like |

The thread has been overrun by Igbo phobic mongrels It is a representation matter and this clamour is not new. The contraption called Nigeria detests equity and justice but wants peace. There is no place on earth where you can have positive peace without equity, fairness and justice. Let the country keep fooling itself. |

ThePolemicist: Which facts have you mentioned that you're talking about? Or is it the stats you pull out of thin air about 1 in 4 business men bla bla bla. Questioning who lost more people during the civil war is funny cos you missed the entire point - that the Biafra ideology is one that millions of Igbos were and are willing to die for till this day. So you're the most logical Igbo man who then sees others as delusional because they want their own country for obvious reasons? I never asked you to see things in anyway but rather that you critically examine your own beliefs. I have not even mentioned my own leanings so far! Anyways, I know your type, from your moniker I could tell already. Like I said, you need to unlearn and relearn so much cos you lack critical thinking, just like majority of Nigerians I know. Won't bother replying your mention again. |
Crime / Re: Nigerian Arrested At Thai Airport After Swallowing 69 Packages Of Drugs (Pics) by TheRealestGuy(m): 11:13am On Mar 27 |
Calitoscassius: It is absolutely sad! For the records, it is symptomatic of the general degradation of societal values in the country as a whole, as the same can be said for every other ethnic group in Nigeria. We have lost our way as a people and the govt needs to actively reverse this rot by engaging in mass national reorientation initiatives. |
Crime / Re: Suspected Ritualists Behead Woman, Cut Vital Organs, Dump Body In Osogbo, Osun by TheRealestGuy(m): 11:10am On Mar 27 |
ThePolemicist: Like I mentioned, calling out =/= denigration or mockery. It is bigotry to denigrate or mock any ethnic group, and if you do it to your own ethnic group, then the self-hatred must be strong. Meanwhile, your categorisation of Igbos who are pro Biafra as deluded evidences your lack of critical thinking. Have you tried to interrogate the reasons for the massive support the ideology of Biafra has enjoyed and continues to enjoy? Or you think such a complex matter that Igbos paid dearly for with millions of lives is banter material? You need a lot of education, unlearning and relearning cos your level of thinking is like primary school level. I rest my case. |
